ATTENTION!!!

Not sure if you noticed but there are TWO Lowell Garden Clubs.

Not sure what happened but when we created the new group we couldn't integrate it with the old group

So we will be switching things back over in the next few days. I'll make sure to get a link

I'll be transferring over all of this pages posts. That's gonna be fun :)

Second Garden Club meeting in 2026!!! Jackie Grutzius invited us over for corned beef, cabbage soup, and desserts!!!

This month's craft was concrete stepping stones :D

I had a lot of fun doing this and ended up with two different themed stones. I LOVE the sea glass one. It's so beautiful and I bet it shines well in the sun

Next month we officially kick off GARDEN CLEAN UPS!!!!! That's my favorite part :') gonna go get my hands dirty to make Lowell beautiful 🌻🌺🌹🏵🪷🥀

It's October!!!! Nights are longer, the sunmer days are behind us. The garden season is almost at its end. Only one way to celebrate: bonfire, s'mores, and spooky stories!!!!!! Thank you Sue for hosting this lovely event!!!! The food was delicious! You should have seen Micah's face when he discovered how good a properly cooked marshmallow is 🤣🤤then to top it off we got to listen to scary stories under the light of the full moon. It was a perfect evening. 🥰

This means I've officially been part of the Garden Club for a whole year!!!! I remember joining last year but being too scared to go to the bonfire night. 😅 I immediately regretted it when they showed me the pictures. What was i nervous about. These ladies are so wonderful!!!! They're the kindest people I know and they've taught me so much about gardening. It's been a wonderful year ❤️

Member spotlight: It's me!!!

My name is Lyndsie Drapeau and my garden is focused mainly on two types of plants. Native plants and plants that attract pollinators. It's important for me to show that EVEN IN A SUBDIVISION you can have wildflowers. I have 80% of my lawn cut and trimmed like a "traditional" lawn but I also make sure I give some of the land back to the wildlife. I mow it less frequently, and never ever spray. Since doing this we have more butterflies, hummingbirds, dragonflies, grasshoppers ladybugs, fireflies, and yes, bees. This is something I am so proud of and will be taking the time necessary to learn how to keep it well maintained :') I love my garden so much!!!!!
