Fair time is here!

There have been several questions regarding times and dates for shirts. Here are the details.

Starting Friday August 7th through Saturday August 15th we will be selling shirts at the Lake County Sheriff tent from 2p-10p.

Shirts are $25 and hoodies $40. Sizes small-3x

The online store will be open beginning Friday August 7th and open until August 21st. Please keep in mind that if you order online the orders will be be made until the online store has closed on the 21st.

Announcement!

On May 9th starting at 10am we will be doing a shirt sale at the lake county fair grounds! We will be having demonstrations and you can meet the dogs while you’re there!

We will be selling all shirts from our previous years that we have available at discounted prices. Please keep in mind there are limited sizes and styles available. We will have several dogs to meet but not every dog can make it. We plan to go until about 2pm.

🎉🐾 Happy 2nd Birthday, Ghost! 🐾🎉

Please help us wish a very happy 2nd birthday to K9 Ghost, and officially welcome him as the newest member of the Lake County Sheriff’s Office K9 Team!

Ghost is a Belgian Malinois from the Netherlands and is a multipurpose K9 trained in tracking, criminal apprehension, and narcotics detection. He’s large, highly driven, and equally known for his playful personality when he’s off duty.

Ghost and his handler, Officer Schultz, completed an intensive month of training at Ultimate K9, and officially joined the K9 team in December. This marks Officer Schultz’s second K9 partner, following the heartbreaking loss of his previous K9, Pietertje, in December 2024. Ghost carries on that legacy of service with big paws to fill.

When he’s not protecting the community, Ghost lives at home with his handler’s family, where he enjoys being a beloved family dog.
