Merrimack Valley Food Bank, Inc. We are one of four food banks in Massachusetts that serves food pantries, shelters and meal programs that in turn, serve individuals and families.

Through our six hunger relief programs, the Merrimack Valley Food Bank provides nutritious food to food pantries, shelters, soup kitchens and other programs that serve individuals and families in 33 communities in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. The Merrimack Valley Food Bank is a community-supported 501C-3 non-profit organization that provides nutritious food to emergency feeding programs serving the low-income, homeless and hungry.

MVFB is proud to partner with Horne Family Farms to bring fresh, locally grown produce to our nine Community Market sites across Greater Lowell. Thanks to Chris, more than 500 clients each month have access to nutritious fruits and vegetables like fresh spinach, tomatoes, mixed greens, carrots, and more. 🌱

And of course, visits from baby Christopher during deliveries always brighten our day! 💚🚜👶

We are excited to share that Merrimack Valley Food Bank has been awarded a 10-year, $800,000 grant through Cummings Foundation’s $35 million grant program.

Since its founding, Cummings Foundation has awarded more than $650 million to Greater Boston nonprofits, and we are honored to be among the organizations receiving support through this impactful initiative.

This significant investment will help sustain the programs and services we provide every day while also supporting future growth as we work to serve even more people in need throughout our community.

We were proud to announce and celebrate this news with our staff, board members, volunteers, and supporters at our 5th Annual Big Night Out. We are incredibly grateful to Cummings Foundation for their continued support of our mission to end hunger in our community.
