We are SO excited to announce that we have surpassed the Perry Foundation matching challenge of $65,000! Thanks to the generosity of 96 individual donors who contributed $44,457, along with nine grants totaling $22,000, we raised an incredible $66,457 and St. James Place is now a reality. NCCDF was awarded a $50k community planning grant from Virginia Housing for a year-long study on two parcels of land on Callohill Drive in Lovingston. NCCDF will undertake this study with Hill Studio out of Roanoke to evaluate the property for affordable housing. Community input is vital in the planning process, so stay alert for more on this as the work progresses!
