Hearts & Horses Our mission is to enhance physical, cognitive and emotional wellbeing through equine partnerships.

Hearts & Horses, a nonprofit therapeutic riding facility nestled in the foothills of Northern Colorado, has been changing lives for people with disabilities since 1997. We provide a variety of therapeutic and educational programs utilizing our incredible herd of four-legged therapists.

Are you ready to take the next step in your equine-assisted services journey?

Hearts & Horses is proud to host a PATH Intl. Equine Specialist in Mental Health and Learning (ESMHL) Workshop this August 19–21, 2026!

A PATH Intl. Equine Specialist in Mental Health and Learning ensures the safety and well-being of the equine participating in mental health or equine-assisted learning sessions and serves as the equine expert during equine-human interactions. The ESMHL works alongside a mental health professional or educator in typically unmounted activities.
