Institute of Taoist Education and Acupuncture - ITEA

Institute of Taoist Education and Acupuncture - ITEA Classical Five-Element Acupuncture College and Student Clinic Welcome to something different — the transformational world of Classical Five-Element Acupuncture.

The Institute of Taoist Education and Acupuncture (ITEA) offers the degree Master of Acupuncture in Classical Five-Element Acupuncture (CF-EA). This discipline was brought to the west by the late Professor J. R. Worsley. The oral tradition, taught to small, close-knit student groups, produces practitioners of great understanding, knowledge and depth. Students work with the energy of the body, the

mind and the spirit to guide their clients toward living their full potential. A wide variety of people, ranging from children to the elderly, come for treatment at the ITEA clinic. Many have found acupuncture extremely beneficial where other forms of treatment have been unsuccessful. Acupuncture as a Healing Discipline:

The effect of Classical Five-Element Acupuncture (CF-EA) is not simply a relief from a specific condition or symptom, but an improvement in overall well-being, quality of life, and increased energy and vitality. This is particularly relevant for those who, while not feeling medically ill, are aware that they are unwell or out of sorts. CF-EA is a powerful healing discipline based on nature, and uses the natural energies in all living things to promote the body’s ability to heal itself. Different from many forms of medicine, the cause of the symptom is addressed in treatment, rather than the symptom itself. CF-EA restores the balance of natural energy within, and harmonizes one’s relationship with the world. Treatment is individual and takes into account the marvelous complexity and potential of each person.

ACAHM Stakeholder Survey – The future of acupuncture education

Use your voice: Review proposed changes to program length and degree requirements before submitting the ACAHM survey.

In response to recent federal policy changes that would impact federal financial aid eligibility for students and change gainful employment accountability metrics, ACAHM requests stakeholder feedback about program length, cost, and accessibility.

As May comes to a close, take a moment to reflect.

What shifted for you this month?
What brought you greater balance?
What are you ready to carry forward into the season ahead?

Healing is movement.

Not just in the body, but in the mind, emotions, and spirit. When energy flows freely, we feel more connected, balanced, and alive.

Every small step toward awareness creates space for healing.

What is one thing you're bringing with you into June?

Healing is not just physical. Healing is deeply connected to how we feel, process, and move through the world.

Stress, overwhelm, grief, burnout, and emotional tension can all affect the body in quiet ways.

Acupuncture has long been used as a practice that supports balance, not only physically, but emotionally as well.

Sometimes healing looks like:
slowing down,
sleeping more deeply,
feeling more grounded,
or simply having space to breathe again.

Support can begin with awareness, rest, and care for the whole person.

If you’re looking for support, call us today at 720-890-8922 to begin this transformational journey.

Classical Five-Element Acupuncture is more than a study of medicine. It is a way of understanding the relationship between nature, healing, and human experience.

Again and again, students describe this work as something that expands not only their knowledge, but their perspective on life itself.

We are grateful to our students for sharing their experience and insight. 🌿
