It's Wednesday and time for the LCBA Farmers Market. The Market opens at 3:00 p.m. on the parking lot of the American Legion Post 370. The address is 420 Kelly Ln., Louisiana, MO. Peggy will be there with zucchini, new potatoes, onions, snap peas, broccoli, carrots, beets, garlic scapes and cherry tomatoes. Dayla will be introducing a strawberry pound cake along with chocolate chip cookies, turtle brownies, croutons, granola and handcrafted jewelry. Melissa will have her beautiful art work, T-shirts and handcrafted jewelry. I will have 1 pound of fresh picked green beans, 1 pint of sweet snow peas, 4 bags of mixed walnut and pecan candied nuts and 5 bags of Muddie Buddies/Puppy Chow. Dale will have her amazing soaps, beautiful hand made crafts and maybe a few other plants and things. Cindy will be there with jams, jellies and her spectacular pastas. Who knows, there may be other items that are coming as they come into season. You will just have to come out and see what we have! It's always something wonderful and fresh!

We are located on the American Legion parking lot. 420 Kelly Ln., Louisiana, MO 63353. We open promptly at 3:00 p.m. and close at 6:00 p.m. Hope to see you there!

THE DOUBLE BUCKS ARE BACK!
We are pleased to say that we have received the Grant to offer the Senior Nutrition Double Bucks program again this year. Double Bucks allow seniors 2x's the buying power for edibles and soap. The program is free to seniors. 62 and over. If you are a resident of Pike County, you are eligible to take part in the program. To sign up, you will need your I.D. and fill out a form. That's it! You can have up to 10 tokens per week until the Grant money runs out.
Diffey Farms will be their today with their wonderful produce, spring mix and other lettuces, garlic scapes, beets, turnips, sugar snap peas, rosemary bread and other delightful veggies. Lyla will have her face care items. Alexia will be there with her wonderful sourdough, pretzels, cookies, pizza crust, tallow balm, and other goodies. Cindy will have her absolutely wonderful homemade pasta products, dried herbs, jams and jellies. Our Pink Flamingo ladies will be featuring a new item along with their delightful pet toys and other items this week, so be sure to check them out! Representatives from the Louisiana Library will be setting up to distribute free books and goodies for the children. I will have a very limited amount of strawberries, so be sure to get there early! Melissa will have her wonderful jewelry and T-Shirts available and Dayla always has a wonderful assortment of baked goodies jewelry and crafts.
There is always something new at the Market as the crops begin to come in, so be sure to stop by and take a look. Don't forget, we draw for the "Goodie Bag" at 5:00 p.m. Be sure to get into the drawing!

It's an exciting day at the LCBA Farmers Market! Sourdough bread, pizza crusts and other goodies are returning today. We also have Dale's wonderful soaps and other crafts returning today. Diffey Farms will be there with plenty of fresh from the fields produce and Cindy will have her AMAZING homemade pasta! Cookies and other craft items will also be available. And, you never know what else! There will be a very limited amount of strawberries today, but if you are lucky enough to pick up a pint of them, you won't be disappointed in their flavor. So sweet and juicy!

IT'S YOUNG ENTREPRENEUR DAY!
