It is hot folks, but we are still having the LCBA Farmers Market! We have some supper great stuff today. Leah will be there with her wonderful array of freshly picked veggies, squash and hopefully some of those tasty watermelon. Alexia is bringing her yummy pretzels, sourdough bread, pizza crusts, cookies, cinnamon rolls, focaccia, tallow balm and greeting cards. I have STRAWBERRIES today, cherry tomatoes, muddy buddies and candied nuts. Dale will be there with her AMAZING soaps, crafts, and other items. Melissa will be bringing her stunning jewelry, T-shirts and other craft items.
I hope you will all honor the bravery of our hard working vendors and come to the Market to pick up your favorite items. The Market opens at 3:00 and closes at 6:00 p.m. We are located on the parking lot of the American Legion Post 370. The address is 420 Kelly Ln., Louisiana, MO.

The warmer temperatures are back and so am I. A BIG Thank You! to Leah Diffey for taking over the Market for me last Wednesday, so that I could attend my Aunt's funeral. Today's Market promises another fantastic selection of all the things you love about fresh, grown or made by our vendors, items. Today, Alexia will have Sourdough Bread, Pizza Crust, Pretzels, Cinnamon Rolls, Cookies, Cookie Sandwiches, GLUTEN FRIENDLY Cookies, Focaccia, Tallow, Homemade Cards and lots of other things. Leah will be bringing Tomatoes, Onions, Squash, Zucchini, Garlic, Rosemary Bread and Watermelon. Dale will have her spectacular Soaps on hand as well as her beautiful craft items. I will have Cherry Tomatoes, Green Peppers, Muddy Buddy's, and Candied Nuts. Dayla will be featuring her Mini Breads, Cookies, Blueberry & Lemon Pound Cake and all the other tasty treats we have all been enjoying. Melissa will have her awesome selection of jewelry and inspirational T-shirts and craft items and hopefully Cindy will be there with her yummy Pasta, jams and jellies. And there may even be some of the best Honey you have ever had!

Hey folks. I'm making this recipe on Friday morning. This round I will be searing the scallops as to put a brown kind of crisp finish to them. I have a lot of orders for this entree and I probably won't make extra since scallops are so expensive I don't want to risk wasting it. If you would like one, let me know. $15.00 and 1 lb container combined with everything. The sauce is simply butter, garlic and parmesan cheese.
