🎃👻 A SPOOKTACULAR NIGHT WITH OUR FAVORITE PEOPLE! 🖤🐾

Our Halloween Client Appreciation Party was one for the books! From fun photo ops, amazing food, exclusive discounts, and a costume contest to welcoming some of our favorite local vendors, the evening was filled with fun, connection, and community! 🕸️✨

We were also honored to partner with Barking Dogs Rescue, featuring some of their adorable adoptable pups who received plenty of love and cuddles throughout the night! 🐶🧡

Nights like these remind us that what we do goes beyond dog training. It’s about building lasting relationships and being part of an incredible community united by our love for dogs. We’re so grateful for our ADU family! 🖤🐕

✨🐾 Double, double, toil and trouble… we’ve got fluffy dogs to cuddle! 🧙‍♀️🎃

Come hang out with us TODAY from 2–5 PM at Frost Frozen Bar in Westport for an afternoon of Halloween fun, delicious drinks, a dog costume contest, and some wonderful adoptable dogs!

Frost is one of our favorite dog-friendly spots in the KC area, and if you haven’t been, this is a great excuse to check it out! They’ve got a fantastic dog-friendly patio, great drinks and snacks, and plenty of space to hang out with your pup.

🎃 Pup-tacular Costume Contest! Dress your dog up in their Halloween best! The winner will take home a Frost gift card, VIP card, goody bag, and get their very own spotlight on social media. We can’t wait to see everyone’s costumes!

🔮 Practically Magic Pop-Up! If you love Practical Magic or just love Halloween, you’ll want to check this out! Frost has gone all out with the fall decor, witchy vibes, fun photo ops, and some delicious seasonal drinks. They’ve got a Caramel Apple Whip, Pumpkin Pie Tai, and Black Widow Margarita on the menu!

🐶 Adoptable Dogs! Amber, Trixie, Star, Bella, and more of our Barkin Dogs will be joining us, dressed up in their own costumes and hoping for lots of love and attention. Come meet them! They’d be more than happy to collect a few pets. ❤️

🎡 Spin the Wheel! We’ll have our prize wheel set up to raise money for the rescue! Every spin helps our dogs, and we’ve got some fun prizes, including $5 drink coupons for the Practically Magic pop-up and dog-themed grab bags!

There’s also a dog-friendly patio and chill zone, activities, and plenty of good food and drinks. Kids are welcome, too!

Meet Dove!

Dove is a 5-year-old Labradoodle who came into our rescue with her Australian Shepherd friend. I know how difficult it can be to find one home willing to adopt two dogs together, so we are going to give these two girls the opportunity to find their own families.

Dove is a very active, fun-loving girl who needs a family that wants to keep her busy! She loves puzzle toys and enjoys having things to keep her mind working, but she also needs plenty of room to run, romp, and burn off some energy.

Because of her activity level, Dove will need a securely fenced yard and a family who enjoys an active lifestyle and wants to include her in their adventures.

We have not tested Dove with children or cats, so that is unknown at this time.

If you’re looking for a smart, active girl who will keep you on your toes and make you laugh, Dove might be your girl!

Meet Kate!

Kate is a beautiful 6 year old Bluetick Coonhound who is learning that life can be soft, safe, and full of love.

Before coming into rescue, Kate lived on a farm with seven other hounds, all tethered outside. One by one, the other dogs made it off the property, and Kate was the very last one left behind. Now its finally her turn to discover what it means to be a spoiled house dog.

And honestly? Shes taking to the delicate life pretty well.

Kate is incredibly sweet, silly, and absolutely loves people. One of the cutest things about her is that she SMILES! When shes happy or excited, shell flash you the goofiest little hound smile, and it is impossible not to smile right back.

Shes treat motivated and eager to please, which has made helping her adjust to indoor life so much fun. She is kennel trained, rides great in the car, and does well with other dogs.

Kate would do best in a home without cats, as she is definitely still a hound at heart and is not cat friendly.

After spending so many years living outside on a tether, Kate deserves the good stuff now. A comfy bed. Car rides. Treats. Adventures. People who adore her. Maybe even her own spot on the couch.

She doesnt need anything fancy. She just needs someone willing to show her how good the rest of her life can be.

Kate is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and current on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention.

She waited until the very end to get her chance. Now wed love to make sure she never has to wait for a family again.
