What does it really mean to be a mentor?

You don’t have to be a counselor.
You don’t have to be a tutor.
You don’t need an extraordinary career or all the answers.

You just need to be willing to show up, listen, encourage, care and believe in a student.

Sometimes, the most meaningful thing you can give a young person is your time, attention, and a positive adult friendship.

You could be the mentor a student needs!

This morning, TeamMates of Louisburg hosted breakfast at BES, LMS & LHS in honor of National Mentoring month. We celebrated the mentors investing in our youth week after week, year after year. The best part is watching both mentors & mentees light up when they see each other! Thank you mentors for all you do!
