🎄 We’re thrilled to announce that we’ll be hosting our Secret Elves Society Christmas Program again this year! 🎄

This special program brings holiday joy to the babies in our Early Intervention Program and their siblings.

Families raising little ones with additional needs often face extra expenses. Between specialized equipment, therapies, medical costs, and the everyday expenses of raising a family, purchasing holiday wishes—and sometimes even meeting basic needs—can be a challenge.

That’s where our Secret Elves Society comes in! ❤️

Together, we can make the holidays a little brighter for these sweet kiddos and bring smiles to the faces of their families. Every child deserves to experience the magic of Christmas, and we’re so excited to help make that happen!

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us for our anniversary drop-in event yesterday! We are truly grateful for the opportunity to celebrate this milestone with our supporters, community members, and friends.

We apologize that we were unable to capture photos of everyone who attended. We were busy enjoying meaningful conversations, reconnecting with familiar faces, and welcoming those who came to celebrate with us.

Your continued support and commitment to our organization mean so much. We are proud of the work we do and deeply appreciative of the individuals who make our mission possible.

Thank you for being part of our journey and helping us make a difference in our community. We look forward to many more years of serving, growing, and celebrating together!

Dr. Ubben served on TEC's Board of Directors for several years. He was a change agent for education and his impact will remain for many years to come. His loved ones are in our thoughts as they celebrate a life so well lived.

We are seeking a caring, dependable Registered Nurse (RN) to support a student in one of our after-school programs!

Position Details:

Schedule: Tuesdays and Thursdays

Hours: 3:15 PM – 5:45 PM

One-on-One Care: Work with just one student, providing nursing care and support as needed

Compensation: Generous pay!

This is a great opportunity for an RN looking for a rewarding, part-time position with a consistent schedule and the chance to make a meaningful difference in a student's life.

We are SO excited to announce our 2026 Not All Heroes Wear Capes Grant Winners! 🎉

👏 Congratulations to Ms. Jessica Leslie, Sweetwater Special Education Coordinator, who was awarded a grant to create a Sensory Items Resource Library! This resource will provide valuable support for students and educators throughout the school community.

👏 Congratulations to Mr. Mark Smith and Ms. Abi Carter, SPED teachers at Lenoir City High School, who were awarded a grant for their Mascot Cafe Transition Training Project! We’re excited to see how this project provides meaningful opportunities for students to build important transition and life skills.

Our Tennessee Educational Cooperative Early Intervention Program team will be at EZ Stop in Maryville on Friday, September 25, ready to do the pumping for you! 🙌

💚 Raising money to support the work of United Way of Blount County

Participating gas stations will donate 5¢ for every gallon of gas sold, and our team will be working for tips—all to help support programs and families right here in Blount County.

💚 Families—come see your Early Interventionist in action! We’d love to see you, wave hello, fill up your tank, and have a little fun together while supporting a great cause.

So, if you need gas Friday… don’t pump it yourself! Let your Early Interventionist do it for you! 😃⛽

Select EZ Stop Markets, Kenjo Markets and the Townsend IGA will have volunteers pumping gas for tips from 7 am to 6 pm. All participating gas stations will donate $0.05 per gallon of gas sold to United Way of Blount County.
