🌱 TEC is thrilled to announce that we are the grateful recipients of a Casey’s Community Fund donation! 🌱

These funds will support our Extended Learning students who participate in our Gardening Club, giving them even more opportunities for authentic, hands-on learning.

We are so excited to watch our students learn, grow, and dig in while developing skills they can carry far beyond the garden. 💚

Dolly Parton has always understood something that we at Tennessee Educational Cooperative believe deeply: kids matter. ❤️

As an educational cooperative serving children, families, and schools across East Tennessee, we have been incredibly fortunate to see the impact of Dolly’s belief in children firsthand. Through the Imagination Library, she has placed books into the hands of thousands of children we have served—opening doors to literacy, imagination, learning, and possibility.

For some of the children we serve, those books may have been among the only books they had at home. For others, they may have been the books that sparked a love of reading that will stay with them for a lifetime. Dolly understood that access matters. Every child deserves the opportunity to have a book in their hands and someone believing in what they can become.

Our mission is to help ALL children reach their full potential. Dolly has been a beautiful example of what it looks like to live out that mission—not just by giving children books, but by believing that every child deserves the opportunity to learn, dream, and reach their potential.

She reminded us that investing in children is investing in the future. Perhaps most importantly, she showed us that people matter.

Dolly, thank you for the legacy you created right here in East Tennessee and the world. We will continue to help kids read, learn, play, imagine, and dream🦋❤️📚

As the new school year begins, we invite you to join us for TNSTEP's Family Connection Circle, a learning and community-building group for Tennessee families of children and youth (birth to 26) with disabilities. We're kicking things off with a FREE two-part online Collaborative Advocacy training designed to help parents feel more confident participating in IEP meetings!

During this interactive series, you'll:
• Learn about your role on your child's IEP team and how to prepare for meetings.

🌱 Growing Together | TEC 2026 🌱

What a wonderful way to kick off a new fiscal/school year!

Today, our team (with the exception of extended learning, as they are already in the classroom) came together for our TEC 2026 Connection Event, centered around our theme, Growing Together. This theme reflects not only our commitment to supporting one another as a team but also our mission to help children grow and thrive every day.

When we invest in building strong relationships, learning together, and supporting one another, we become better equipped to make a lasting difference in the lives of the children and families we serve.
