The Sacred Heart of Jesus reveals the depth of God's love—a love that never gives up on us.
Following this week's national consecration, we are invited not simply to witness an event but to live a response. Consecration means placing ourselves under Christ's loving care and allowing His Heart to transform our own.
As followers of St. Francis, we know that renewal comes through humility, prayer, and service. May the Sacred Heart inspire us to become instruments of God's mercy wherever we are called.
How will you share Christ's love this week?
❤️ Sacred Heart of Jesus, reign in our hearts.

Today, we celebrate the Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus — a profound reminder of Christ’s enduring love, mercy, and presence in our lives, even in times of suffering and loss.
For the Franciscan Friars TOR, this feast holds special meaning. On October 30, 1942, a devastating fire destroyed “Old Main” on the campus of St. Francis College in Loretto, Pennsylvania. The building housed classrooms, the friary, and the chapel. In the aftermath of the tragedy, workers clearing the ruins made a remarkable discovery: among the ashes and debris, the only recognizable object recovered was a fragment of a Sacred Heart statue — the heart itself.
That surviving heart became a lasting symbol of hope and faith for the community: a reminder that even amid destruction, the love of Christ remains steadfast and unbroken.
As we honor the Sacred Heart today, may we place our trust in the compassionate heart of Jesus, who walks with us through every trial and continually calls us to live with humility, mercy, and love.
“Learn from me, for I am meek and humble of heart.” — Matthew 11:29
Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us.

"Behold this Heart which has so loved the world."
This week, on June 11, the bishops of the United States will consecrate our nation to the Sacred Heart of Jesus during the Church's commemoration of America's 250th anniversary.
At a time when our nation longs for healing, unity, and hope, we are reminded that the Sacred Heart is the source of peace that the world cannot give.
Join us in praying that our country, our leaders, and all people may be guided by the compassion, justice, and self-giving love revealed in the Heart of Christ.
❤️ Sacred Heart of Jesus, make our hearts like Yours.

Today, we celebrate the incredible gift of the Eucharist — the true Body and Blood of Jesus Christ, given for the life of the world. In every Mass, Christ nourishes us with His presence, strengthens us for mission, and unites us as one family in faith.
As Franciscan Friars TOR, we are reminded that the Eucharist calls us not only to worship, but to become living signs of Christ’s love through humility, service, and compassion for all people.
“Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me and I in him.” — John 6:56
May this Solemnity deepen our love for Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament and inspire us to carry His presence into our communities each day.
