Monday, October 12: Update from Brother Shamus:

Another beautiful day on the Rails to Trails! 🚴‍♂️☀️

Today, we cycled the Sandy Hook Rails to Trails in New Jersey, enjoying blue skies, perfect temperatures, and the wonderful fellowship that has become such a special part of this annual journey.

Joining me for the ride were Sister Mary Ann and Bob Goss. Along the way, we were delighted to meet Bill Gray, a St. Francis University graduate, and his wife, Gale. It’s always a pleasure when good friends and fellow supporters of a worthy cause cross our path!

Tomorrow, we embark on the final day of our 16th Annual Dorothy Day Cycle Fundraiser. What began years ago as an idea has grown into a beautiful tradition of faith, friendship, and service to those most in need through the Dorothy Day Outreach Center in Loretto, PA.

Please keep us in your prayers as we pedal our way to the finish line. May God bless our final day, all those who have supported this mission, and especially those whose lives are touched by your generosity.

On October 13, 1917, thousands gathered at Fatima and witnessed what became known as the Miracle of the Sun.
The message entrusted by Our Lady at Fatima continues to call us to prayer, conversion, and peace.
May we entrust our worries, our families, our nation, and our world to the loving intercession of the Blessed Mother.
Our Lady of Fatima, pray for us. 🙏
