One last chance to show numbers before the midterms. This ain't about parties. It's about ridding our government of monsters who enable war, s*x trafficking, and government sanctioned murder in order to line their pockets with taxpayer money and an ever expanding but increasingly exclusive portfolio of stocks that increase in value as their company holdings reduce the quality of our environment, society, and of human life in general.

Also we will have stickers.

Less than a week until No Kings 4! We'll announce the candidate speech line up later today! Bring your signs, your voice, and your vote! Ballots drop this Friday, so we'll have all the info you need to make an informed decision on the candidates and the initiatives. We'll also have voter registration info and forms, if you need it.

WE'LL SEE YOU AT THE CIRCLE!

Our hearts are with Kevin and his family following the devastating loss of his son, Fenris.

As a community, one of the simplest ways we can show up for someone going through an unimaginable loss is to help carry some of the weight.

If you’re able, please consider supporting the family through the GoFundMe below. If you can’t donate, sharing it can help reach others who may be able to.

Let’s surround this family with some love and support right now.

I’m raising funds for the funeral and services of our 12-year-old son, Fenris. Our … Kevin Moynihan needs your support for Fenris's Funeral and Family Support

It's happening! No Kings - the national day of protest against the rise of fascism in America - is happening just a couple weeks before election day.

The theme is voting early, and we'll be getting our ballots around then. There's a ballot box not far from the location - feel free to bring your ballot and walk on over to drop it off!

We are inviting local organizations to come table and provide information, especially about volunteer opportunities. We don't want this No Kings to just be about protest - we want you to walk away with a plan of action for doing something in our community.

We are also inviting local politicians to speak, and will let you know if any of them say yes, lol.

Keep your eyes peeled here, or on Lower Columbia Indivisible, our partners in protest for No Kings, for more information!

When: October 17, 2026
Time: 12:00
Where: Longview Civic Circle - 1525 Broadyway St., Longview WA

We are marching on Saturday (9/19), as usual. We've shown up every two weeks for a 18 months now, and we'll keep showing up. This time tho, we're showing up locally. We've got some important races going on right now, and what better place to learn about them than the Civic Circle?

Cascade Forward hasn't formally endorsed any candidates yet, but we certainly know who's on the short list. We'll have info from all the local races available for you to look at so you can learn about the candidates, and folks from the campaigns will be around to answer questions. You can grab a yard sign, some stickers and buttons.

I think we all get a little overwhelmed with the big picture, but the smaller, more local picture is absolutely easier to change. This area wasn't always red, and we can all work together to change it!

SAVE THE DATE: NO KINGS RETURNS OCTOBER 17.

No Kings is coming back to Cowlitz County — and this time, we’re taking it all the way to the ballot box.

Join Cascade Forward on Saturday, October 17 for NO KINGS: VOTE EARLY, a rally for democracy and a reminder that the most powerful thing we can do this fall is show up — in the streets and at the polls.

We’ll have local candidates and community leaders speaking, signs in the air, feet in the streets, and yes, frog hats.

Bring your signs. Bring your friends.

October 17.
Noon.
Longview Civic Circle.
