North Strand Helping Hand North Strand Helping Hand is an emergency crisis organization that strives to meet the immediate needs of the less fortunate in Northern Horry County.

We provide assistance with food, SNAP Applications, Medicaid Applications, and other items as available. We are open for food Monday- Thursday 10-2 and Friday 10-12. We offer a mass food distribution the second Friday of each month at Kingston Lake Baptist Association located at 3410 Church Street in Loris from 9-11 and the second Saturday of each month at the Farmers Market located at 925 1st Avenue in North Myrtle Beach from 9-11. We provide assistance with the essentials of life: food, SNAP Applications, Medicaid Applications, clothing and some household items as available. We dedicate ourselves to work in partnership with Churches, SC Thrive, local businesses and caring individuals to improve the quality of life for the under-privileged in our community.

Our Mass Food Distribution at Kingston Lake Baptist Association in Loris that was scheduled for this Friday July 10th has been canceled due to heat advisories. If you are in need of food, please come to our office.

The Mass Food Distribution scheduled for this Saturday July 11th at The Farmers Market is still on from 9-10:30. Please help spread the word to those in need.

Our monthly Mass Food Distribution will be held this Friday May 8th at Kingston Lake Baptist Association 3410 Church Street in Loris from 9:00am until gone.

We will also have a Mass Food Distribution on Saturday May 9th at The Farmers Market located at 925 1st Avenue S in North Myrtle Beach from 9 until 11am.

Please help spread this information to those in need.
