This month we are proud to highlight OFFICER NATE STIRRAT, who has been serving with Long Beach Police Department since 2016. Officer Stirrat currently serves as a School Resource Officer in our Long Beach Elementary Schools.

WHY DID YOU CHOOSE LAW ENFORCEMENT?
“After serving in the US Navy and relocating to the Gulf Coast, I decided to continue to serve not only my country but my community as well. I have always wanted to help those in need and law enforcement allows me to do that.”

WHAT DO YOU ENJOY MOST ABOUT SERVING OUR COMMUNITY?
“Getting to know the people who make the community stronger and more prosperous. We have some of the most giving, honest, and loyal members of society in our little community and we are blessed because of this.”

TELL US ABOUT YOURSELF
“I am married to my wonderful wife Anna, and we have three beautiful children. We also have three dogs and we spend our spare time traveling and relaxing on our boat.”

WHAT ARE YOUR HOBBIES?
“Photography, One-Wheeling, Motorsports, Wake-Surfing, and going to Dueling Pianos in Pensacola.”

FAVORITE LOCAL SPOT?
“The Downtowner is amazing and we are always at Rackhouse as well.”

FUN FACT?
“I was a tactical air traffic controller in the Navy and saw my first Blink-182 concert onboard the USS Nimitz.”
