Thank you to everyone who helped make this year’s Chalks truly amazing!

Here are some fun facts about this year’s event:

-49 artists, our largest lineup ever included 14 new-to-our-event artists and 30 who traveled in from out of the area!

-Close to 1,000 attendees, even the high heat couldn't dampen the excitement!

-$32,000 raised to support the revitalization of our beloved Lompoc Theatre Project!

Guest after guest told us the art this year was simply amazing. The artists truly outdid themselves, and our community noticed!

Our favorite part of hosting Lompoc Chalks is giving the very talented artists a place to share what they love. We have built an event that artists return to year after year, and they tell their chalking community how much they love coming to Lompoc. That word of mouth is the best compliment we could receive!

The Lompoc Theatre is now on Letterboxd!

Follow us to explore the films that have screened at the Theatre throughout its history. Our Letterboxd Diary includes a record of films screened at the Lompoc Theatre from 1927-1994.

We'll continue to share the latest Theatre news on Letterboxd, and once screenings begin, the Diary will be updated with each new film.

Follow on Letterboxd and take a trip through the Theatre's cinematic history!

We are so excited for Chalks this year, and October 2nd - 4th will be here before you know it!

To help get you excited for this amazing event, here is a sneak peak at some of the remarkably talented artists joining us this year:

Jenavieve De La Vega - this promising up-and-coming talent grew up with Lompoc Chalks and can't wait to share her inspired artwork with all of you!

Joe Mandrick - this returning Chalks artist is a longtime chalking veteran who treats the surface like a canvas, using the chalk pastels to create a temporary painting that he hopes will inspire others to pursue their passions!

Lorelle Miller - this award winning visual artist and veteran street painter is looking to bring her unique background as a painter and a sculptor to create a one-of-a-kind experience for this year's Chalks!
