🇰🇭🙏 A Historic Moment for Our Khmer Community!

Our Khmer heritage is something to be cherished, celebrated, and passed down from one generation to the next.

The Asian Art Museum in San Francisco is presenting Vishnu's Cosmic Ocean, featuring a nearly 1,000-year-old Cambodian bronze sculpture. This rare exhibition offers our community a meaningful opportunity to witness the remarkable artistry and history of our ancestors.

For Cambodian families living far from their homeland, moments like these help strengthen our connection to our roots and remind younger generations of the rich cultural legacy they carry.

✨ We warmly invite our Khmer community, families, and friends to join the public opening celebration this Sunday, October 25!

🙏 11:30 AM | Traditional Buddhist water blessing by monks from Wat Dhammararam

💃 12:00 PM | Traditional Khmer dance performances by Morodok Angkor Dance Troupe and Proleung Seilaphak

📍 Asian Art Museum | San Francisco, CA

🎟️ Celebration included with museum admission.

We encourage our community to come together, bring our children, and share in this special celebration of Cambodian history, faith, art, and culture.

May we continue to honor our ancestors, preserve our traditions, and inspire future generations to take pride in their Khmer heritage. 🇰🇭❤️
