Lockport CARES, Inc. provides short-term emergency shelter for adults over 18 and children with a parent or guardian.

Hours 6:00pm entry and 9:00am exit each day.

WishList Water Wednesday... yep, we are in need of bottled water again for our Guests lunches. If you can get a case from Walmart/TOPS loaded in your car, we'll unload here at the shelter. We'd be so grateful.

We so want you to join us for Dinner & A Movie, Tuesday November 17 at 6:00pm. Please register with the office 716-438-2273 and we'll take your details and your food choice. The event is underwritten, so free for all (16yo & older) who attend. We'll pause mid-movie for a small presentation and an opportunity for all to donate.

If you happen to be shopping, would you consider picking up a pack of napkins and ziploc sandwich bags for the Shelter? We would truly appreciate your support. They can be dropped off at the Office during Business Hours or the Shelter after 6:00pm at 188 Genesee St Lockport.

Lockport CARES invites you to Dinner & A Movie. Register to join us on November 17 @ 6:00pm for boxed dinners and the movie, "Home Alone" at the Historic Palace Theatre. You must register by calling the office Mon-Thurs 10:30am - 4:00pm. The dinner and movie are free, and we will be asking for donations during the intermission. Grab your friends and give us a call at 716-438-2273.

This week's WISHLIST WEDNESDAY is a call for medium-sized disposable gloves (latex and powder free) - You can find Gorilla brand on Amazon and have them shipped straight to the Shelter at 188 Genesee St Lockport NY 14094. And we'll say a great big THANK YOU for your support.

We love to serve our Guests sausage and eggs for breakfast, get them started for the day with a hearty breakfast. Would you consider this WishList Wednesday buying packs of "Brown 'n Serve" Sausages to help with the cost of serving our guests? If so, please drop them off at the office during the day or at the 188 Shelter after 6pm. And thank you for your thoughts, prayers and donations.

Apparently it's International Coffee Day tomorrow... so this week's WISHLIST WEDNESDAY is for coffee (of course), powdered creamer and sugar. If you can help us with these supplies, we'd be grateful. Drop them at the shelter after 6:00pm or at the office during the day.
