C.A.R.E.’s 12th ANNUAL Free SEED EXCHANGE
February 7, 2026, Saturday 10:00-2:00 –
Rain Date 2/14/2026

Organic, non-GMO, and heirloom seeds will be available for free. C.A.R.E's Seed Exchange purpose is to educate the public about Organic, Heirloom and Open Pollinated seeds; learning how to be a "seed saver" and about chemicals that affect nature and your health. Chat with gardeners and find out how these seeds and seed saving can increase the nutrition, taste, and variety of home-grown food while, perhaps finding rare varieties not available in most stores.

Please bring some empty envelopes to hold your seeds, and you are also encouraged to bring your labeled seeds to exchange. Rain date is 2/14/26, 10:00-2:00

France is challenging everything we know about wind power with a bladeless wind turbine that generates electricity from vibration instead of spinning blades. The device uses aerodynamic resonance — the same principle that makes bridges or wires hum in the wind — converting oscillations into usable electrical energy.

With no blades, the turbine creates no noise, poses zero threat to birds, and requires almost no maintenance. It also takes up a fraction of the land needed for conventional wind farms, making it suitable for urban rooftops, highways, industrial parks, and even residential areas. The technology is durable, silent, and ideal for distributed energy systems.

What makes this breakthrough exciting is its potential to supplement traditional renewables. Bladeless turbines can operate in turbulent wind patterns, in tight urban spaces, and even alongside existing wind farms — capturing energy that conventional turbines cannot.

France may have just created the cleanest wind energy system humanity has ever seen.
