Free, weekly, timed 5k Run or Walk at BiCentennial Park
Open to all ages, abilities. Participation is free, but you must register

The mainstay of parkrun events is that they are simple and offer no barriers to taking part. Our parkrunners can run, jog or walk, can bring their dog on a lead or push their children in a pram and can be 5 years old or 105.

Throwback Thursday to previous Halloween Livonia parkruns. Wear your costumes Saturday. Halloween will not be on a Saturday again for another 11 years, so don't miss this one. Bring decorations and/or treats. Tricks optional.

We have one milestone, Shari Muller will be running her 25th parkrun. We need a Token Hander Outer, a Tailwalker, 1st Timer Welcomer, and two more Course Marshals please and thank you.

The Livonia Turkey Trot will be happening this Saturday as well, starting at 9:30 a.m. Enter and leave parkrun by Coach's Corner, not by the Fire Station.

Future Friday post for Steve Dancy's 500th parkrun celebration tomorrow. Join us for a wonderful Livonia parkrun. Sign Steve's memento. Then head over to Coach's Corner for a delicious breakfast with all your parkrun friends.

Steve has been a stalwart co-leader of our Livonia parkrun community for many years. Let's show our gratitude and support for Steve (and Lynn's) devotion, contributions, and personal sacrifices made on our behalf. Way to go Steve. Thank you for all you do.

We still need two Course Marshals for tomorrow. Thank you all.
