Throwback Thursday to previous Tutu Days. Big news: Livonia residents save your "Livonia Today" Magazines. Livonia parkrun is the cover story! Thank you to Terry Jacoby for the story and pictures.

Wear your Tutu's this Saturday, 8/22, and if you can volunteer we still need a Run Director, Timekeeper, Token Hander Outer, Barcode Scanner, Tailwalker and three Course Marshals.

Throwback Thursday, and time to look back at this Saturday's milestone earners. We have Bruce Hyde completing his 550th parkrun. Jenn Budd is volunteering for the 150th time. Mary Kay Gallagher is volunteering for her 50th milestone. Randy Nussio is volunteering for his 25th milestone. If either Madison Markowicz or Shiaire Little attend on Saturday, they will earn their Junior 10 milestone.

For Volunteers this Saturday we still need a First Timer Welcomer and three Course Marshals please and thank you. To volunteer send an email to [email protected] Volunteering is fun and easy and all training is provided.

This week we celebrated Steve Hadrill's 250th parkrun and his 200th volunteer, Chris Walker's 450th parkrun, Todd Francisco's 300th, Lindsey McGlich's 200th, Suzanne Moore's 200th, and Keeley Klosowski's junior 10th.

Look ahead Thursday to our Crazy 8's parkrun on Saturday. We will be celebrating all things "8" on the date of 8/8.

Plus we have a Crazy number of milestones to celebrate: Come and help congratulate Chris Walker on 450R, Todd Francisco on 300R, Steve Haddrill on his special 250R (come sign his memento) plus Steve H's 200V too. Then both Suzanne Moore and Lindsey McGlinch on 200R, and finally Jim Davis on his 50th parkrun. There will be treats and drinks.

Plus Rachel (your finish line photographer 📸) and Kacey's (run director) 9th parkrun anniversary.
