On November 14th, Mai Family Services marks 40 years of standing with survivors of abuse and domestic violence. And the truth is, the need has never been greater.

The cases we see today are more complex than ever — survivors navigating fear, immigration concerns, financial control, cultural pressure, and the weight of silence, often all at once. This work takes time, skill, and a community that refuses to look away.

That's where you come in.

When you join us on November 14th, you're not just attending an evening — you're telling every survivor: you are not alone. You have a community. And that community showed up for you.

Gentle reminder: Candlelight Vigil tomorrow, Saturday, October 3rd.

October is Domestic Violence Awareness month.

We light a candle for survivors — and for the truth that no one should face abuse alone.

Thank you so much for committing to attend our very first Candlelight Vigil as we come together to reflect, to pray, and to say clearly: there is a community that stands with you, and an organization that honors your confidentiality, your dignity, and your culture without judgment. Every survivor deserves to be seen and respected.

We look forward to seeing you all to show our solidarity and support to the brave individuals who have taken a step towards freedom from fear and rebuild their life.

No need to register, just show up and bring your friends and family, we will bring candles.
