Sincere Gratitude to the Walkathon attendees

Dear friends

Thank you so much for an overwhelming response to our 17th Walkathon on Sunday, June 28th. We hope that you enjoyed it as much as we all did preparing for it. The weather was perfect and so was the joyful spirit in the air.

Anu Gopalkrishnan, our dynamic President denounced any kind of violence and prompted us to vow to stand up for the survivors of Domestic Violence. Your presence at this awareness event shows your commitment to the cause.

Thanks to Rish Mitra who spoke about the great work he is doing in the area of child abuse.

A special shout-out to Ashwath Mahesh, Tarun Krishna, Suresh Krishna, Bhagya Shetty and Kalyani Nallamilli who entertained the attendees before the kickoff and during lunch time.

Our very own board member Dhanya Menon led the crowd to a warm-up activity.

We were honored to have Rai and Vanita Bhargava, one of our great supporters and well-wishers kickoff the walk.

After careful consideration, we are writing to share that our 40th Anniversary celebration, Sh@kti Rising, has been postponed to a later date due to unavoidable circumstances.

This was not an easy decision. This celebration means a great deal to all of us, and we want to honor it in the way it deserves — with the full presence and heart of the people who have shaped MaiFS's journey.

Please await further details. A new date will be shared with you as soon as it is confirmed.

For those who have already purchased tickets: your tickets remain valid for the new date. If you would prefer a refund instead, we will gladly honor that within 10 business days — simply reach out to us at [email protected].
