That excitement is exactly why Stan represents WMSI’s core pillar of access for all. At WMSI, we make sure every kid gets a chance to learn, build, and create, no matter where they live!

Next to join the party is Izzy! Whether she’s making a robot, a marble run, or a stop-motion animation, Izzy is always giving it her all. Each project is a new and exciting way for her to tell stories and discover new things. That’s why Izzy represents WMSI’s core pillar of exploration!

At WMSI, we encourage our students to start every project with curiosity and leave with renewed enthusiasm and a whole bunch of ideas for whatever you do next!

This is Mozz, and he has so 👏 many 👏 ideas! 👏 Some might not work quite how he thought, but he knows that’s just the price of progress. That’s why he’s our resilience guy, repping the next of WMSI’s core pillars. He never lets failure discourage him, and he always tries to take the knowledge he gains and use it to make his next idea even better.

That’s why at WMSI we encourage our students to try, fail, then try again! We know that just because you didn’t succeed on your first try doesn’t mean you did something wrong. It’s all just part of the process!

Over the next few days we’d like to formally introduce WMSI’s cast of characters, and show you how WMSI’s core pillars show up in the work we do.

First up is Wharton! He believes that collaboration is key to learning and by working together, people can accomplish great things. Working on a project is always better when you’ve got someone to bounce ideas off, or when you’ve got someone cheering you on!
