We are making weekly runs to Cole's Redemption Center in St. Jay every Monday. Most restaurants in Littleton are saving their liquor & beer bottles for us as well as tin cans. They MUST have VT listed in order to recycle. All proceeds go to the annual Littleton Christmas Parade. We will make more than one trip to St. Jay if needed.

If any private citizen in Littleton would like to save and donate their tin cans, we can do pickups each Sunday. We will need to know where you live and you can leave a plastic bag with your cans next to the road.

Please note, NO juice containers, NO iced tea bottles, NO wine bottles, NO Aquafina or Poland Spring Water bottles and when it comes to beer cans, check the top for VT being listed (some can be recylced and some can not).

Please PM me if you are interested in participating. Thank you in advance!!

As of today, our Redemption Campaign has brought in $239! We have ALL restaurants in Littleton (except for 2) who are saving bottles and cans for us. We also have the Elks Club and the VFW doing the same.

As you may or may not know, we (along with the other parades in town) now have to pay for police details the day of our event. We have discontinued the fireworks, but now have to add in the cost of police. So our fund raising still has to produce a lot of funds.

IF anyone wants to give us their bottles or soda cans, please contact me. Remember, they have to have VT written with the other redeamable states on the bottle or can.

Thanks!!

Our 2026 Redemption Campaign for the Littleton Christmas Parade has started as of the second week in January. To make it successful, we need the following from whoever can help:

1/ 32-40 gallon trash barrels. If you have one you are not using, we could surely use it! We are talking the heavy plastic ones like rubbermaid, etc...

2/ SAVE SAVE SAVE for us . .
a/ liquor bottles
b/ soda or beer cans (aluminum)
c/ beer bottles
All of these containers MUST have VT printed on them as redeamable. Otherwise they are no good to us.

3/ NO wine bottles
NO Iced tea cans
NO bottles for juice, energy drinks, etc...

If you want to bring your barrels or bottles/cans/containers to my home, contact me to set up a time when I can meet you. I have barrels in my van where I separate everything before going to Vermont (Redemption Center).

As of tonight, we have the following businesses working for us:
The Little Grill
The Taste the Thai
The 99
Applebees
Alburritos
PLUS the Littleton Elks and Howard Shawney VFW Post

This is awesome and it keeps with the 2026 parade theme "Holiday Teamwork; People Working Together". It is so fitting!
