😁 A little history beyond Littleton!
Curator Marlayna Schultz and Curator Emeritus Richard Alberini had the pleasure of attending today’s celebration at Salmon Hole Cemetery in Lisbon, marking the 250th anniversary of the founding of Whitcomb’s Independent Corps of Rangers.

The program included a commemorative marker dedication, a proclamation read by a Whitcomb descendant, recognition of Revolutionary War soldiers buried at Salmon Hole, and a drill and musket salute by Whitcomb’s Rangers.

We had a wonderful time! Thank you to all who helped make this celebration possible!

When in doubt, we’ll help out! 😊

Groomsman Jacob Stuab stopped by the museum with a little wedding day dilemma: he needed a jacket! Of course, we helped him find one to borrow, and we couldn’t resist adding a top hat for a quick picture. 🎩😂

He returned the jacket with a thank you and told us everyone at the wedding had nicknamed him “Colonel”!

You never know what the day will bring at the museum!
