Maximus was born on April 25, 2016, in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. He is a pure European-bred German Shepherd with the noble temperament and intelligence that his breed is known for. For years, he has been my loyal companion, protector, and emotional support. He has stood by me through some of the most difficult seasons of my life, and he continues to be a loving, gentle, and caring family dog who enjoys listening to "Gato Barberi" & Jazz & being around people.

Unfortunately, due to my current circumstances and unemployment, I can no longer provide Maximus with the space, stability, and environment he truly deserves. I have recently been advised to euthanize him, but I refuse to do so. Maximus still has a lot to show for! He is strong, smart, knows how to get back home, moves rocks, loves running, and most of all enjoys listening to some great music! He is still full of life...but needs medical attention, which I can not afford for him; he has a skin condition, possibly a gut infection. He is fully vaccinated. I have all his paperwork, also his birth certificate.
He deserves a chance to continue living in a safe, bigger home where he can stretch, run, and receive the love he so easily gives to others.

All I respectfully ask in return is a photo of Maximus, so I can know he is safe, happy, and living the life he deserves.

Thank you so deeply for taking the time to read this letter and for considering giving Maximus a second chance. Your help is truly appreciated, more than words can express. Any recommendations are greatly appreciated.

Someone surrendered her at my work (Animal hospital in Aventura) and we were caring for her for a few weeks then transferred her to broward humane. She has had medium interest but no takers💔

Calling all German Shepherd lovers!!!!!!

My name is Pampas, I’m a long hair lovable around 5yrs old, spayed female GSD. Up to date on all my vaccines and heart worm neg. Don’t worry about potty training because I’m good to go. I won’t even potty in my 12x12 dog run. I love to play in the water. If you water your flowers, you have to water me too. If you have a pond or kiddie pool, I will surely jump in. I enjoy playing with a ball and being loved on. I’m pretty much your shadow once we bond. That’s exactly what I’m looking for. Someone to bond with. I really want a family of my own. If you have space on a bed, couch, or your floor and think you can handle being loved by a special little girl, please please reach out. I will get along with other dogs with the proper time and introductions.

HELLO EVERYONE!!!
Calling all natural ear lovers!!! We are in need of a loving furever family for this beautiful female cropped black and tan GSD Dobie rescue graduate.
Here’s the details on Freya……

-approximately 6 years old
- Takes Prion to manage occasional bladder incontinence while sleeping. inexpensive and simple, works great.
- Up to date on all vaccines, Banfield history available. Last shot was in January
- Heartworm negative
- Monthly Heartgard
-Monthly K9 Advantix II
-Potty trained
-not crate trained
-good in cars, but can get excited
-knows sit, stay, wait, easy, down, off, come. Working on better command following while distracted.
-off leash at a dog park she will recall somewhat (working on it). wouldn't let her off leash walking.
-Freyja is a super loving and cuddly doberman with tons of energy and a goofy mentality.
-Freyja can use work on following commands while distracted, and she has a high "prey drive" to chase small creatures (squirrels etc). Without a gentle lead, she pulls while walking.
-VERY food motivated, will eat anything from ice cubes to sausages. Currently eats Hills Science Diet (everyone says her coat is EXCELLENT and this is the reason why)

Freyja is a wonderful doberman that simply needs more room than we can give her and more time than we can give her. She's my lovable, cuddly guard dog and it's extremely tough to recognize that we can't give her the right home right now, but maybe someone out there can.
