The Arc of Lincoln County is partnering with Oregon ABLE Savings Plan to help people with disabilities in Oregon open and start funds in ABLE accounts. To be eligible for an ABLE account, a person must have a qualifying disability that began before the age of 46; money in an ABLE account does not count as a resource for disability benefits like SSI and Medicaid, so ABLE accounts allow people on those programs to save money without losing their benefits.
We have 100 promo codes worth $100 each to start new ABLE accounts in Oregon. The promo codes are first come, first serve. The Arc of Lincoln County can assist you in setting up an account if help is needed.

Here’s a great opportunity to go birding with our friends at Seven Capes Bird Alliance 🐦 🫶🏼

Birding by D River begins this Saturday! Every first and third Saturday from June through August (excluding July 4), we'll meet at Hostetler Park on D River, explore the hidden boardwalk, and continue through the campground to see what we can see at Devil's Lake. Our volunteers will be present to guide these "mini" bird walks, ready to answer your questions and help you identify the birds you see! Loaner binoculars will be available, and all are welcome to attend, including beginner birders, weekend visitors, and families. We're so excited to bring you more opportunities to go birding with us this summer and can't wait to see you there! 🦆🦅🐦
