**Correction** THREE STEAK NIGHTS!

VFW Post 9103 Steak night on 4 Sept 2026 1800-2000 hours. Thank you Past District Commander Kennedy for the reminder!

This Gunny is special.

This month, in Harnett County we will be fortunate to have two steak nights at two different VFW Posts, Dunn Post 6767 will host their inaugural beef night on 11 September 2026 at the American Legion Building at 10 Jonesboro Road. That evening we will be focused on Camaraderie, Fellowship and BEEF!

Then, Ernest Simmons will host another Steak night on 25 September. If in town, local or not this is an AMAZING opportunity to not only have an incredible Steak but to support those prepared to make the Ultimate Sacrifice.

We have placed an order for 250 Ribeyes, a mix of Choice and Prime. We pride ourselves on being welcome to ALL.

Please attend and bring a friend. We are so grateful to have those Patriotic supporters who never forget the Veterans of Foreign Wars and those Very Few who took the Oath the path of lifelong service.

District meeting at the Cary Post 7383 this Saturday @ 1100 hours. We will have VFW member Wade Adair from the non profit Buddy Check as a guest speaker.

Department Representative with be State Senior Vice Commander Christopher Christopher Alan Brown .

School of Instruction on VFW Programs by District Sr Vice Commander Stephen Gardner Adjutant Training by retired CSM and District Jr Vice Gerald Eagan

LASTLY, Laura Pearce Past American District and Post Commander covering the General Orders for All American and All State requirements.

Also, Army Infantryman Jesse Charter as Officer of the Day.

Looking forward to seeing all there!
