I would like to give a huge THANK YOU to all who were able to come out and help with picture day. We made an awesome team! 🤩 I was overwhelmed with appreciation for those who were able to commit their time today. We will definitely have to arrange for snacks next time. 😁

Good morning! If any of our parent volunteers are available today to help for picture day, we could really use some help. More volunteers = Less distractions to the photographer = Better photo results for students.

*UPDATE*
We will be meeting at 1:30 p.m. tomorrow afternoon as well as on Friday. Hope you can come out and help.

Our teachers are hard at work today getting ready to welcome back all of our awesome Cougars. They need some help sorting some supplies to different classes. I will need a few helping hands for tomorrow getting these items where they need to be. I will be at the school to begin at 9 a.m. If you are able to help, please let me know.

Hello and happy summer, Cougar family!

I know we still have a month left of summer break, but Second grade is in need of help. Mrs. Helton needs a parent or two to help run copies for the team on August 4 or August 5.

I want to give a HUGE thank you to all of our Cougar family volunteers! We could not have made this school year a success without all those who showed up to lend a hand. Harnett County Schools would like to recognize our dedication with a lunch social on Tuesday, May 27 from 11-1 at the Gentry Educator Development Center in Erwin (Across from Triton High). This is a floating event, so you are free to show up at your convenience during that time. I hope to see you there.

Alright y'all, I need some help! We need proctors for the end of grade testing next week. I only have a couple at this very moment. Teachers CANNOT test without proctors. I know we can overlook and hope someone else steps up, but let's change that and relieve some stress from our teachers and administration.
Anyone 18 and older (who is not a current student) can proctor testing. I know I say it in just about every post, but you must be a confirmed volunteer with a current application on file with harnettvolunteers.com.

The media center is in need of parent volunteers for the Literati book fair. Volunteers are needed to help during preview days on Friday, March 28 and Monday, March 31. Book fair sale dates are April 1-8. There are two different time slots to choose from each day. You all are amazing! Our volunteer roster for picture day has been filled after only one week.😃
If you missed this sign up, don't worry. We have other exciting opportunities coming up. The spring book fair is just around the corner and our spring festival will be here before you know it.
And don't forget, you can always learn about ways to help during monthly PTO meetings. The next meeting is scheduled for March 24 at 5:30.

I'm super excited to have met so many new parents last week. You all are awesome! Thank you so much to all that have signed up at the dance. I look forward to working with you all.

Ms. Wiggins is still in need of volunteers to proctor ESL testing this week. This is such an easy and rewarding way to offer your time. Time slots only require 2 hours of your time.

She is in need of volunteers as follows:
Monday 2/10/25 at 8:45 a.m.
Tuesday 2/11/25 at 8:45 a.m., 10:45 a.m., and 12:45 p.m.
Thursday 2/13/25 at 8:45 a.m., 10:45 a.m., and 12:45 p.m.
Friday 2/14/25 at 8:45 a.m., 10:45 a.m., and 12:45 p.m.
