Testimonial from Malikah Ngodu:
"2024 was a year of transformation for me. It started with me ending an emotionally draining relationship with someone I once pictured a future with. Then I had to move out of the home that I raised my children in for 5 years.

This resulted in searching tirelessly for a new place to live. Unable to find somewhere that was affordable and within the area that my children were enrolled in school or close to my job. I had to pack up everything and put it in storage and move back to Atlanta from Fort Lauderdale, FL. A choice I did not want to make at all.

I am blessed to have family here in Atlanta, so I had somewhere to stay for a while, however living on your own for so long and then having to live with people even if it is family can take a huge toll on you.

In 2025, Women's Resources became one of the best blessings of my year. Not only does Ms. Alisa speak life into you with her God given gift of prayer, her organization actually helps you to get back on your feet. I was given so many resources and assistance that helped me move into my own apartment, helped me with furniture and clothing donations, band even helped with programs that provide my children and me with food.

I am most thankful for the partnerships that Women's Resources has with local businesses that allowed me to interview and obtain an Office Manager position that is a great fit for me and my passions to help people.

I am truly grateful and eternally thankful for ALL that Ms. Alisa and Women's Resources has done for me and my children!

After experiencing major life changes, relocation, and housing challenges, Malikah connected with Women’s Resources Inc. Through prayer, encouragement, practical resources, and valuable community partnerships, she and her children were able to begin rebuilding their lives.

Today, Malikah has a home of her own and a new position that aligns with her passion for helping others. Her story reminds us that support is about more than meeting an immediate need, it’s about helping women move forward with hope, stability, and dignity.

We are grateful to Malikah for allowing us to share her journey and to every donor, sponsor, business, and community partner who helps make stories like hers possible.

It may be hard to believe but the holiday months are just around the corner. As this can be exciting for some, for others it can be the start of depression, only focusing on what they may not be able to do. Our simple reminder is this: 'Small acts can create a lasting impact. 💗'
