💖 Did you know that one act of generosity can help create lasting memories for an entire family?

Each year, Women's Resources Inc.'s Adopt a Family for Christmas program helps bring hope, joy, and support to families who may be facing difficult circumstances during the holiday season. Through the kindness of our community, families are reminded that they are seen, valued, and loved.

While the holidays may seem far away, the impact of this program lasts long after Christmas morning. 🎄

Today, we're simply celebrating the power of community and the difference that happens when people come together to care for one another.

🍽️ Feeding the hungry is more than a monthly outreach, it's an opportunity to serve, lead, and make a lasting impact in our community.

One thing you may not know is that many of our Feed the Hungry events are hosted by WRI mentees who have stepped up to turn their passion for helping others into action. We are incredibly proud of our mentee partners at Healing A Heart, WAOCK Ministries, and UMOJA Helping Hands for leading with compassion and serving those in need.

Watching these organizations grow, give back, and create change in their communities is exactly what Women's Resources Inc. is all about. 💖

💗 What is Serve Day? It’s compassion in action.

Serve Day is more than showing up, it’s organizing, preparing, serving, and coming together to meet real needs in our community. From packing bags to distributing meals and supplies, every act of kindness makes a difference.

🗓 Join us June 27th as members from Mount West Church and other organizations come together to serve with purpose and love through our Feed the Hungry Outreach. Whether it’s your first time volunteering or you’ve served before, there’s a place for you to make an impact.

💗 1,000+ meals served… and we’re just getting started.

This milestone represents more than meals it represents hope, compassion, and community. Because of the generosity of our supporters, volunteers, sponsors, and partners, Women’s Resources Inc. has been able to serve over 1,000 meals so far this year to individuals and families in need.

Every meal shared is a reminder that someone cares. Every act of support helps us continue showing up for our community with love, dignity, and service.
