‼️The final countdown for the 5th annual Northwest Summer Shindig has officially begun!

⛰️ Saturday, June 6th 12:00pm
• Teams can pre register at the VFW to save themselves a few steps
• Day of registrations, waivers, and scavenger lists will be available for release from approximately 11:45am to 12:30pm
• $10 per player

🇺🇸 This year’s theme- is AMERICA
• Dress in your best Stars and Stripes, & red white and blues for our costume contest

🧭 The scavenger hunt:
• Bring a camera or your phone for the “pictures of” category
• Teams will be provided a trash bag for litter and a sack to collect the hidden & other items
• There’s a good chance a “tail” will be on your lists, don’t forget to come prepared- we are gonna be in gopher country

⭐️ As always, have fun, be safe, enjoy some friendly competition & celebrate the wonderful place we get to call home!

Time to start planning your teams and costumes!
• The route will be in the greater Buck & Doe Creek area
• Teams will be provided with trash bags to clean up litter (extra points for full bags!)
• $10 per player
• Register, sign waivers and get your scavenger list at the VFW from 1130-1200
• Meet back at the bar to tally points, do raffles, and see which teams won

On Monday, members of VFW Post 1548 and American Legion 97- led by our local Scouting America troops- retired over 200 flags for the community!

The leadership and values demonstrated by Scouting America provided a positive insight towards our future!

You can always turn in your old flags to the VFW or Legion for retirement. We have new flags ready to purchase at the VFW (USA, MT, POW/MIA) that are all made in America. Be on the look out this Memorial Day weekend for our flags going up throughout the community!
