Big improvement at our Flower Creek Trails! 🚗❄️
We’re excited to share that our new parking lot is complete. What started as a spoils pile left from the City of Libby’s upper reservoir project on Flower Creek has been transformed into a large, well-designed parking area that meets the club’s current needs and gives us room to grow.
This project was made possible through a grant from Montana’s Natural Resource Damage Program (NRDP). We partnered with the City of Libby to get it done, and the work was completed by Noble Excavating Inc.
The new lot not only makes it easier and safer for skiers to access the trails, but it also provides better runoff protection for the watershed that supplies Libby’s municipal drinking water.
Thank you to the City of Libby, NRDP, and Noble Excavating for helping us turn a pile of dirt and rocks into something that benefits both the ski club and the community. See you at the Flower Creek Trails this winter!
