✴️UPDATE✴️
We know many of you have questions, and we wish we had more information to share. This unexpected early closure has been difficult for everyone, and we are still working through the transition.

We have begun reviewing voicemails for medical records requests. If you have already left a message requesting your records, you do not need to call again at this time. Requests will be addressed as staffing and access allow.
For patients who had a phone call scheduled to review a recent appointment, we are exploring possible ways to provide that information.

Thank you for your patience, kindness, and understanding during this challenging time. We will share additional updates when we have more information available.

CARD CLINIC – IMMEDIATE CLOSURE
CARD planned to remain open through August 31, 2026.
Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances beyond CARD’s control, including circumstances relating to grant funding, CARD is unable to remain open through August 31, 2026, as originally planned. Therefore, as of August 10, 2026, CARD is permanently closed.
We sincerely apologize for this unexpected change and for any inconvenience or uncertainty it may cause.
MEDICAL RECORDS REQUESTS
As a result of these circumstances, CARD’s ability to process and respond to medical records requests is currently limited.
CARD is actively consulting with the appropriate government agencies and legal counsel to determine the appropriate process for handling medical records requests during this transition.
If you are requesting medical records, please call 406-293-9274 and leave a voicemail with your:
• Full name
• Date of birth
• Current mailing address
• Good callback number
Your request and contact information will be documented. Medical records requests will be addressed as CARD receives further guidance and as circumstances allow.
We greatly appreciate your patience and understanding during this transition.

Dear Libby Resident,
We are undertaking a project on water quality that involves conducting community focus groups in Libby on the topic of septic systems. We are looking forward to hearing about homeowners’ experiences with pumping septic systems and everyday household habits. Input from residents will directly shape programs designed to help local homeowners make informed decisions.
We're currently looking for more participants. Please consider participating in one of our community focus groups. You are also welcome to forward the registration link below to any neighbors or friends who might be interested in participating. Participants who qualify can earn $100.

Just a Friendly Community Reminder to Please Stay Hydrated! 10 day forecast shows nothing but lots of sunshine and heat.
Also, CARD will be officially closed as of August 31st, 2026. If you are needing a copy of your medical records, Please call (406) 293-9274 to make that request. Copes wil be made so you can come pick them up a day or two later in most cases due to the volume of requests coming in. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

If you lived, worked, or spent time in Lincoln County 10 or more years ago, you may qualify for this free screening. Early detection is important, and our team is here to provide education and screening in a convenient location closer to home.
