artfarm presents ⭐️ The Bread & Puppet Theater ⭐️ in Lexington, KY at Greyline Station!! Join us for The Upside Down Circus with Bread and Puppet Theater ! (ticket link in bio)
“Is it or is it not?
Am I asleep or am I awake?
Am I a cockroach or am I a me?
Possibilitarians! We must demonstrate humanity’s upside-down situation in the face of the government’s depraved falsehoods. Luxury silence and despair must be replaced by revolt orchestras that radically oppose the radically wrong system.
It is time to unforget the revolution-in-progress and aim for the evermore on the universe’s shore.”
The one and only Bread & Puppet Circus is back to confront our upside-down situation! With stilt dancers, paper maché beasts of all sizes, and a riotous brass band, The Upside Down World Circus is an urgent spectacle of protest and celebration.
After each show Bread & Puppet will serve its famous sourdough rye bread with aioli, and “Cheap Art” – books, posters, postcards, pamphlets and banners from the Bread & Puppet Press – will be for sale.
💛 the ARTFARM fam is hosting this event at Greyline Station! Who is artfarm?
artfarm is more than artist studios, a performance space, a gallery, offices for local community organizations, raised-bed gardens, a mutual aid pantry, a library, and a cozy public living room—it’s a movement space. Since opening on Wi******er Road on May Day 2025, artfarm has hosted hundreds of member-programmed events: exhibitions, performances, screenings, workshops, teach-ins, study groups, potlucks, and parties moving toward a more free, caring, and ecological world.
artfarm is sustained of, by, and for our members! We operate without grants, corporate sponsors, or government funding—keeping us independent and censorship-free. By financing the commons primarily through sliding-scale member dues, we ensure our programming stays relevant and timely. In the face of rising authoritarianism, artfarm stands as a microcosm of the world we want to create: democratic, cooperative, creative, and rooted in care.
Friends, near and far: have you joined our community yet?
