Friday night September 18th takes us to day 4 of the Lexington Bach Festival and brings the sounds of Les Délices to our festival! Les Délices fascinates and inspires audiences by exploring music of the past in ways that spark creativity and empower people of all ages to think differently about music and culture. Exploring music of the past and challenging all to think differently about music and culture. Take in the beautiful sounds of Les Delices at St. Denis at 7pm.

In that same spirit research was conducted.....Did Bach have a beard? .... No, during the Baroque period in 18th-century Germany, men of Bach's social and professional standing were clean-shaven. LEXINGTON BACH FESTIVAL STRING QUARTET 🎵🎻🎵 The festival continues on Wednesday 7pm September 16th . Denis. This FREE concert showcases four of the Festival Orchestra's string performers who display their exceptional talents performing the works of Bach, Danish String Quartet, and Alexander Borodin. An enjoyable evening of strings will be yours. New at the 2026 Lexington Arts Council's Bach Festival..."Bach Before Dark"...opening night Tuesday 9/15 The Lexington Village Theatre at 6pm features a reception and art exhibit from the Croswell Lexington High School art department, Community Art Project, and arts council board. Following at 7pm the Croswell Lexington High School Symphonic Band Pride Of The Pioneers - POTP will perform classical music pieces celebrating their second year with the festival. Pieces may include compositions of Bach, Grant, Vargas and a new composition by E. Benton Lilliefores funded in part by the Lexington Arts Council. This is a FREE event with 'Mocktails' available at the cash bar. Join us at this wonderful community event.

Join Dr Pocket (band) August 7th at 7:30 it's Lexington Arts Council's Music in the Park sponsored by Edward Jones - Erica Sheridan. Join us for a fun night of great rhythm, blues and jazz. The horns will have you on your feet dancing the night away. Rain or shine get your blanket or lawn chair out early. Take the FREE shuttle from any of the local churches for ease of parking (6:30-10:30). See you there!
