Kamiah, Idaho – Families are invited to participate in a three-part Holiday Parent Café Series designed to strengthen connections, build resilience, and provide meaningful support for parents during the holiday season.
The series will take place on October 14, November 18, and December 16 at 6:00 p.m. Each Parent Café will include a complimentary dinner, free childcare, and an opportunity for parents to gather in a welcoming environment for conversation, learning, and community building.
The monthly themes include:
October 14: Spooky Good Support
Parents will explore the value of supportive relationships and community connections.
November 18: Gratitude and Grit
Participants will discuss resilience, perseverance, and the role gratitude plays in overcoming challenges.
December 16: Warmth in the Winter
The final café will focus on finding comfort, hope, and connection during the holiday season.
Parent Cafés are informal gatherings that encourage open dialogue, mutual support, and the sharing of experiences among caregivers. Organizers hope the series will provide parents with tools, resources, and relationships that strengthen families and communities.
As an added holiday benefit, parents who attend all three Parent Café events will receive $150 in Christmas shopping funds.
"Parenting can be challenging, especially during the holiday season," organizers said. "These cafés offer a chance for parents to connect with others, enjoy a meal together, and leave feeling supported and encouraged."
