🌿✨ STEAM Workshop: Patterns in Nature ✨🌿
Join workshop leader Carli Mareneck for an exciting journey exploring the beauty and importance of patterns in nature!
Have you ever noticed how patterns repeat all around us? From the spirals of seashells and the symmetry of flowers to the branching of trees and rivers, nature is full of beautiful, and powerful, designs.
We’re excited to invite young learners to discover the magic of patterns through hands-on exploration! Participants will:
🌀 Explore spirals, symmetry, branching, and fractals in the natural world
🌱 Discover how these patterns help living systems grow, survive, and function
➗ Connect scientific observation with mathematical thinking
🎨 Express their learning through creative, fun, hands-on activities
This interactive workshop blends science, technology, engineering, art, and math into an engaging experience that sparks curiosity, critical thinking, and creativity.
Perfect for learners who love to explore, create, and see the world in a whole new way!
Open to participants age 6-12.
