Nutshell Playhouse A 501(c)3 that is bringing live theater, puppets & music to families 🎭

Lenox, MA 📍 Our material is all original and rich in innovative ideas.

We believe that live performances provide a very special kind of community experience for children and families. We seek imaginative ways to tell stories that appeal to children directly through the use of music, visual fantasy, puppets, masks, and clowns. The variety of characters we create illustrate how the differences among people contribute toward a richer life experience and an ability to accomplish things together. Live theatre awakens the imagination, sharpens the mind and deepens awareness, creating a joyful and meaningful experience for the family and community.
