He is polite, responds well to encouragement, and is working hard to build life skills, establish routines, and prepare for his future. What he needs most is someone willing to show up, spend time together, offer guidance, and remind him that he has someone who believes in him.

The greatest gift we can give is our presence.

This month, one of our incredible Love Box Leaders shared how they supported their matched family:

"I watched the kids so the caregiver could work and have some much-needed time to recharge. We played mini golf, shared dinners, spent time at the pool, and simply enjoyed being together. Most importantly, I continue to pray over them, encourage them, listen, and offer support whenever I can."

This is the heart of KC Kansas Angels.

Sometimes the biggest impact isn't found in grand gestures. It's found in giving a caregiver the chance to catch their breath. It's found in shared meals, laughter over a game of mini golf, a listening ear, and someone faithfully showing up month after month.

She loves all things pink, beauty, and self-expression. One of her favorite hobbies is doing lashes and braiding hair, and she enjoys learning new skills and expressing her creativity through style. She is also interested in learning how to cook and enjoys trying new activities. She participates in both track and flag football.
