🌟 Meet AMVN Volunteer Lilia Davtyan! 🇦🇲❤️
Meet Lilia, an AMVN volunteer teaching online English classes to 10th- and 11th-grade students in Akhtala, Armenia! 📚✨
Here is Lilia’s story:
“Hello, my name is Lilia Davtyan, and I am from Artsakh. I study at the Ijevan Branch of Yerevan State University, and I am interested in languages.
In Artsakh, I attended the TUMO Center. I am very interested in volunteering because I feel good and proud when I can help someone. I am also a volunteer with the Red Cross, and I have experience working with children through tutoring at the ‘Smile Club.’
This volunteering opportunity is also a new beginning for me, a chance to discover myself from a different perspective. I will also learn new things and gain valuable experience. I am grateful to AMVN for trusting me, and I will do my best to live up to everyone’s expectations.”

🌟 Meet Marieta Martirosyan, an AMVN Volunteer Teacher! 🇦🇲📚
Marieta is teaching free English classes to children in Armenia, sharing her knowledge, passion, and love for learning. ❤️
Here’s what Marieta says about her motivation to volunteer:
💬 “My name is Marieta Martirosyan. I study English Language and Literature at the Ijevan Branch of Yerevan State University.
I would like to participate in AMVN’s volunteer activities because I love teaching, sharing my knowledge, and making it more accessible to learners. I believe that volunteering will give me the opportunity not only to help others but also to gain new experience, develop my skills, and learn new things.”

🌿 AMVN at Yerevan State College of Humanities 🇦🇲
AMVN co-founders Seroj and Kristina Terians, two of AMVN’s three co-founders, recently visited the Yerevan State College of Humanities, one of our amazing partners with whom we have had the privilege of working together so productively.
The Armenian Volunteer Network (AMVN) team is incredibly proud and grateful to cooperate with this wonderful college. ❤️
A special thank-you to Rector Mariam Minasyan and English Professor Ruzanna Adoyan for their continued support of AMVN and for the incredible work they do to help their students not only become knowledgeable, but also become better, more compassionate people who care about their communities.
During their visit, our co-founders met with AMVN volunteer teachers who are also students at the college. Many of these young people first joined AMVN as students themselves. Inspired by their experiences with AMVN, as well as by their classes and teachers, they decided to give back to their community by becoming volunteer teachers and sharing their knowledge with others. 💙
This beautiful cycle of learning, inspiration, and giving back would not be possible without the dedication and support of Ruzanna Adoyan and Mariam Minasyan.
Our co-founders were also deeply impressed by the beautiful artwork created by the students—a wonderful reflection of their creativity, talent, and spirit. 🎨✨
Thank you, Yerevan State College of Humanities, for being such a meaningful partner to AMVN. We are truly blessed to learn, grow, and serve together. 🇦🇲❤️

📚✨ Meet Lilit Grigoryan, an AMVN volunteer teacher at Akhtala School #2!
Lilit teaches English to students in grades 7–9, bringing her passion for the language and her love of working with children into the classroom.
“I’m Lilit, a student at YSUIB. I love English and enjoy sharing knowledge in a unique and distinctive way. Working with children is a true joy. When I was a child, I dreamed of becoming the kind of teacher I had always envisioned. I am grateful to AMVN for giving me this opportunity—it is truly a wonderful experience.”

🌟 Meet Sophie Telumyan, our amazing AMVN volunteer teacher! 🇦🇲📚
Sophie is 17 years old and a student at the Yerevan State College of Humanities. Through AMVN, she is volunteering her time to teach Russian to Armenian children living abroad. 🌍❤️
Here’s what Sophie says about herself:
💬 “Hi! My name is Sophie. I’m 17 years old and a student at the Yerevan State College of Humanities. I’m interested in languages, education, creativity, and personal development.
I enjoy learning English and German, reading, listening to music, and playing the guitar. 🎸📖
I’m passionate about helping others and gaining new experiences. Through volunteering, I would like to meet new people, develop my communication and teamwork skills, and contribute to meaningful projects.

🌟 Meet Elmira Vardanyan — an AMVN volunteer!
Elmira started volunteering with the Armenian Volunteer Network (AMVN), where she teaches Russian to children in Armenia.
She is a first-year student in the Russian Language Department at the Ijevan Branch of Yerevan State University. Elmira is passionate about working with children and creating a friendly, engaging, and inspiring environment where learning becomes an enjoyable and creative process.
“I love working with children and creating a friendly, engaging, and inspiring environment where learning becomes an enjoyable and creative process.
For me, it is important not only to share knowledge, but also to help children discover their potential, build confidence, and develop a love of learning.
I am always striving to grow as a professional, learn new and effective teaching methods, and apply them in my work. My goal is for every child to feel supported, engaged, and happy to take part in the learning process.”

💗 Meet AMVN Volunteer Teacher Mariam Stepanyan! 🇦🇲📚
Mariam is a student at the Yerevan State College of Humanities who joined the Armenian Volunteer Network to volunteer as an English teacher, helping provide free English classes to Armenian children.
Mariam shares why she chose to volunteer :
“Hi everyone! 💗
I’m Mariam, a student from Armenia, and I’m excited to be volunteering as an English teacher with the Armenian Volunteer Network.
Learning languages has always been an important part of my life. Besides Armenian, I study English, Russian, and French, and English is a subject I’m especially passionate about. I love discovering new words, expressing my ideas, and communicating with people through language.
Through this volunteering experience, I want to share my knowledge and help others feel more confident using English. At the same time, I’m looking forward to improving my communication, teaching, and teamwork skills, meeting new people, and learning from this experience.
I believe that knowledge becomes even more valuable when you share it with others. 🤍

🌟 AMVN Student Spotlight: Ani
“My name is Ani Mkrtchyan. I am a student at AMVN, where I study English. My teacher, Siuzi, has taught me so much about the English language. Thanks to her, I have learned many interesting and useful things, and I’ve truly enjoyed my English lessons.
After I finish, I would like to continue attending English classes.”
Ani has been studying English with the Armenian Volunteer Network (AMVN) and has greatly enjoyed her free English classes. Her teacher, Siuzi, has supported and encouraged her throughout her learning journey, helping Ani build her knowledge and confidence in English. 💙
