💗 A HUGE PINKTASTIC THANK YOU! 💗

Wow… what an incredible way to kick off our inaugural Pinktober for a Purpose here in Leesburg! 🎀

From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU to everyone who helped make these events so special. To our fabulous sponsors, amazing vendors, inspiring speakers, incredible volunteers, and every single person who came out and supported us — we could not have done this without YOU!

Whether you walked with us, shared your story, prayed with us, shopped, bid on an auction item, bought a raffle ticket, sponsored the event, set up a booth, shared a post, or simply showed up to support someone you love who has been affected by breast cancer… YOU made a difference. 💗

This was never just about an event. It was about bringing our community together, raising awareness, sharing hope, celebrating survivors, remembering those we've lost, and raising funds to help breast cancer patients right here in our community through The B***y Trap Foundation.

So guess what today is? It's Pinktober for a Purpose! I just heard there will be donuts and coffee this morning, too. Come on out. Join us for our walk at 9 am, have a donut and coffee, and continue celebrating throughout the day. We have some amazing sponsors, vendors, as well as amazing speakers lined up. One is a male breast cancer survivor. Yes, men get breast cancer too.

Join us TONIGHT from 5:30–7:00 PM at Town Square in Downtown Leesburg as we kick off Pinktober for a Purpose! 💗

We have a fun evening planned, and you definitely don’t want to miss it!

✨ We’ll have:

💗 Pink glow sticks & glow bracelets - FREE
👚 Custom-made Pinktober for a Purpose T-shirts for sale
🎀 Custom-made Pinktober wristbands for just $5 — and they come with some pretty awesome local offerings too!

We’ll also have some very special speakers sharing their stories:
🎗️ A breast surgeon from our Presenting Sponsor, Orlando Health, will be joining us to share important information.
💗 Paul King from Home Instead will share his personal journey as a caregiver while his wife, Dawn, went through breast cancer treatments.
🇺🇸 Our very own Commissioner Alan Reisman will also share a few words with us.

And then comes the big moment… 💡💗

🎀 We’ll FLIP THE SWITCH and turn Downtown Leesburg PINK for Breast Cancer Awareness! 🎀
