🚨 BREAKING POOL NEWS 🚨
So... it turns out when you combine summer break + a heat wave that could fry an egg on the sidewalk + everyone (and we mean EVERYONE 👀) wanting to cool off... our pools fill up FAST. 🏊‍♀️💦
We've officially hit capacity, folks! The perfect storm of:
☀️ Kids out of school and ready to swim
🔥 This heat wave that just won't quit
🦺 A lifeguard crew that, like us, only has so many hands
So for now, we've gotta pump the brakes on new pool-goers. We promise it's not because we don't love you — it's because we love you AND your safety too much to pack the pool past what our amazing lifeguards can watch over. 💙
Here's what happens next:
✅ We'll post right here the moment we've got more room to splash around
✅ Turn on notifications for this page so you don't miss it
✅ Maybe start a sprinkler party in your backyard in the meantime? 😉
Thanks for being the kind of community that loves our pools THIS much. Hang in there, stay hydrated, and we'll see you poolside soon! 🌊
Watch this space for updates! 📢

Outdoor Pool FRIDAY 9-4-26:

Tomorrow Wilson County Schools and LSSD are out of school due to heat. Our outdoor pool is open. However, due to the announcement late this afternoon we will need to place some “guard rails” around outdoor pool use tomorrow.

Our scheduled staff for tomorrow was scheduled assuming a normal school day. We will be able to staff one Lifeguard inside and 4 outside.

For safety we will maintain a 25:1 patron to Lifeguard ratio. Therefore we will be limiting outdoor pool capacity to 100 total persons tomorrow. Indoor capacity will be 25 persons.

Saturday-Monday we will be normally staffed as that schedule was produced in anticipation of a normal weekend.

Thank you! Stay cool out there! And give the Lifeguards a gold star for braving this heat.
