Looking back over May and June leaves us genuinely grateful for all that’s been happening in this season!

We’ve celebrated multiple graduations, closed on a new Bridge House property, hosted several serve days, held our Parents’ Night Out event, welcomed new participants into our 18–20 program, and shared in many Teaching Tuesdays with local businesses, churches, and individuals—just to name a few.

It’s been a full couple of months, and we’re grateful for every person that has been part of it!!!

At The Bridge House, you’ll see these words on our walls. But they aren’t just decorations or slogans for us. They’re reminders of who we want to be when no one’s watching, how we want our team to work together, and why we do what we do.

We hope every kid we have the opportunity to serve experiences these values in real and meaningful ways while they’re in our space. And that these values leave a lasting mark on their lives beyond their time with us.

Hope isn’t something we manufacture. It’s something God fills us with.

At The Bridge House, we’re reminded that even in uncertain seasons, God is still the source of steady, overflowing hope.

If you feel low on hope today, you don’t have to fix it yourself. Just turn toward the One who gives it freely.

At The Bridge House, we believe the little things can make a big difference in a child's day.

A listening ear. A ride to practice. A note of encouragement. Showing up when it mattered.

Tell us: What is something an adult did for you as a child that made you feel loved, seen, or supported?

We'd love to hear your stories in the comments. 💙

Behind the lights, music, and crowds, many women working in the adult entertainment industry are carrying stories of pain, survival, and longing for something more.

Leaving that life isn't as simple as walking away. The barriers can be overwhelming—financial hardship, trauma, addiction, unhealthy relationships, and a lack of safe support systems.

That's why ministries like Scarlet Hope matter. They meet women where they are, offering hope, love, resources, and a reminder that their worth is not defined by their circumstances.

Join us in praying for the women being reached through Scarlet Hope and for the many who are still searching for a way forward. ❤️

We're so grateful for everyone who was a part of our Parents' Night Out event this past Saturday! These evenings are all about giving foster and adoptive parents a chance to recharge while their kiddos have fun with us.

It is truly an honor to know and support your families. All that you do does not go unnoticed, and we're thankful to be part of your journey.

We host Parents' Night Out quarterly, so if you missed this one, be sure to keep an eye out for the next event! We'd love to see you there!

Last week, our kids got creative and made tie-dye shirts!

We are so thankful for ALL the people who help make a day at The Bridge House happen. It takes a lot of people working together to create meaningful experiences for these kids.

We're super grateful for those who take the time to dream up fun activities like this and then make them happen. Moments like these matter!! 💙

Life hasn't always been easy for the children who come through our doors. That's why we believe it's just as important to create opportunities for fun, laughter, and meaningful memories as it is to provide structure and support.

Whether they're helping make a pizza, playing a favorite game, sharing a meal, or heading out on an adventure, we hope they're creating moments they'll look back on with a smile.❤️

Life isn’t always easy, often because of difficult circumstances and poor choices made in a broken world—including our own at times. And yet, God is good and faithful. He meets us right in the middle of it all, holding us with hope, peace, and healing. Our hope has a name!

On this episode of The Foster Effect, Emily Humphries shares about the realities of the adult entertainment industry and the work of Scarlet Hope—a ministry that steps into these spaces to love and support women who often feel unseen beyond their roles.

She also discusses the film He Calls Me Daughter, a faith-based story centered on healing from the “father wound” many carry, and how that pain can shape—and sometimes distort—our understanding of a loving God.
