As much as we love our Bridge House space, we know kids need opportunities to experience fun, everyday moments outside its walls. That's why outings are such an important part of what we do.

Aging out of foster care doesn’t mean a young person suddenly has everything they need to succeed.

At 18, many foster youth are expected to step into adulthood without the consistent support system most people rely on — stable housing, guidance, transportation, encouragement, or even someone to call when life gets hard.

Through our 17-and-under home, our 18–20-year-old transitional housing program, and our wraparound support for foster, adoptive, and birth families, we are committed to walking alongside families and young people as they move toward stability, healing, and hope.

Every young person and every family deserves a community that shows up, stays present, and reminds them they are not alone.

Messages like this are a reminder of the heart, sacrifice, and love of the families we serve through The Bridge House.

We are so grateful for foster families who continue showing up for children with so much patience and care – and for a community that stands with them.

If you’ve been looking for a way to get involved, we’d love to invite you to consider volunteering at our Parents’ Night Out event on June 13, designed to give foster and adoptive parents an evening to themselves while providing a night of fun for the kids. Our Parents' Night Out Event is all about giving foster and adoptive parents a chance to rest and recharge while their kiddos enjoy an evening filled with fun, care, and encouragement.

We’re so thankful for another amazing group pouring into our 18–20 program this Tuesday — Sunday Seed!

These Teaching Tuesdays give our girls opportunities to learn valuable life skills, build community, and connect with individuals and companies who want to invest in their futures. From cleaning techniques and CPR certification to learning about safe relationships and so much more, each session makes an impact.
