Our recent outing to Imagine That Art Studio was a sweet reminder of God’s heart for us and for foster care. 🎨

Even the messiest, hardest parts of our stories can become something beautiful when we place them in God’s hands and let Him redefine them.

Isaiah 61:3 is a beautiful reminder that there is hope—even when the world around us feels a little crazy. And that is something worth celebrating this Hope Sunday.

One of the three amazing programs The Bridge House is on mission to accomplish is supporting young adults who have aged out of foster care.

Turning 18 is hard enough. Now imagine adding no support system on top of that. Then add having nowhere safe to sleep.

That’s where many of the young adults who enter our program find themselves.

But our hope is that, for every young adult we have the privilege of being part of their story, we get to walk alongside them as they grow, gain stability, and ultimately transition successfully into independent adulthood.

Because aging out shouldn’t mean being on your own.

It truly takes a village!!

Transitional housing and supporting youth aging out of foster care doesn’t happen alone. It takes organizations, volunteers, churches, businesses, families, and community members coming together to create the support and stability young people deserve.

We’re so thankful for the incredible community that continues to show up, partner with organizations like The Bridge House and Jonathan’s Path, and help make a difference in the lives of youth in and beyond foster care.
