Today we remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice reminds us of the power of courage, community, and selfless service. 🇺🇸

This Memorial Day, Volunteer Network is grateful for those who served and for all who continue to make a difference through acts of compassion and care.

FEMA will have a Mobile Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) in Wilson County beginning Monday, May 18 through Saturday, May 23.

Mobile Disaster Recovery Centers are locations where anyone impacted by Winter Storm Fern can receive in-person assistance with:
• Applying for FEMA Individual Assistance
• Checking the status of an application
• Resolving issues with an application
• Accessing additional recovery resources

The mobile DRC will be located at:
📍 Wilson County Fairgrounds, 914 Tennessee Blvd from Monday, May 18th until Saturday, May 23rd from 7:00 AM until 7:00 PM.

Please enter through the Tennessee Blvd entrance and follow the posted signage to the Mobile DRC location. Do not use the main entrance to the fairgrounds. Signs will be posted for use at the Tennessee Blvd entrance only as seen in the picture.

If you or someone you know was impacted by Winter Storm Fern and needs assistance, FEMA representatives will be available to help throughout the week.

A huge THANK YOU to Grade A Construction for hosting the Clay Shoot benefitting Volunteer Network! Thanks to the incredible generosity of sponsors, participating businesses, teams, and supporters, the event raised $25,000 to help us continue serving Wilson County.

These funds allow Volunteer Network to connect volunteers to community needs, support ongoing assistance efforts, and respond when disasters impact our neighbors.

We are so grateful for a community that continues to show up, give back, and invest in caring for one another. Thank you for helping us continue this important work! 💙

There’s something special that happens when a community comes together. ✨

*Building Bridges* has been a night full of laughter, connection, and generosity—but what happens because of that night matters even more.

Last year, volunteers gave **thousands of hours** serving our community through Volunteer Network.
And already in 2025, **800+ hours** have helped keep our neighbors safe and cared for through winter warming shelters alone!

This is more than a fun night out—it’s how we keep showing up when it matters most.
