Thank you, Andrea, for two wonderful years with Outdoor School!

It has been a pleasure having you as part of the Outdoor School team and witnessing the positive impact you have made on the lives of students and teachers through retreats. Your dedication, enthusiasm, and care have helped create meaningful and memorable experiences for so many students.

We will miss you and are deeply grateful for all you have brought to our team. As you begin this new chapter and pursue a career in counseling, we are excited for you and wish you continued success, happiness, and fulfillment in all that lies ahead.

We are so excited to announce the newest member of the Outdoor School team, Jessica Armendariz! She will be joining us as the Associate for our program from 2026-2028.

"I am blessed to have the opportunity to work with Outdoor School. Growing up, I didn’t have a place like the Canyon, and when I first visited and worked as a counselor, I fell in love and found peace in this place. It’s a place where you can disconnect from the world and reconnect with yourself and nature. I love Outdoor School because it gives students who might not otherwise have the chance to visit the Canyon the opportunity to experience it and participate in various recreational activities that are different from a traditional indoor classroom setting. When I’m not working, I’m probably outside looking for wildlife, watching movies with friends, or learning new recipes to try."
