Matt Clayton, age 56, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Sunday, September 20, 2026, at Covenant Health LeConte in Sevierville, TN. He was a native of Lawrenceburg, TN, and employed at Graphic Packaging. He was an avid golfer, enjoyed hunting, and watching UT Football. Most of all, Matt had a passion for taking great care of his yard.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Gail Gray Clayton.

He is survived by his wife, Candice Rohling of Lawrenceburg, TN; five children, Damon Clayton (Anna), Gage Clayton, Kenzie Springer (Taylor), Haley Smith (Jakob), and Brad Staggs, all of Lawrenceburg, TN; his father, Donnie Clayton of Lawrenceburg, TN; one sister, Donna White (Steve) of Lawrenceburg, TN; five grandchildren, Vivion Owens, Ella Clayton, Sutton Clayton, Brooks Springer, and Teddy Clayton; and his beloved Belle.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Wednesday, September 23, 2026, with Chad Moore and Jeff Overton officiating. Alice Fay Allen, age 85, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Monday, September 21, 2026, at NHC Healthcare Scott in Lawrenceburg, TN. She was a native of Lawrenceburg, TN, retired from Murray Ohio, and a member of Coleman Memorial United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Roscoe David and Lois Gobbell Allen; brothers, Bobby Joe Allen and Norman Allen; sister, Lavonna Marjorie "Von" Allen; sister-in-law, Norma Sue Allen; and her faithful furbaby, Ellie.

She is survived by four nephews, Tony Allen (Pam) of Lawrenceburg, TN, Jeff Allen (Frances) of Lawrenceburg, TN, David Allen (Cindy) of Leoma, TN, and Barry Allen (Laura) of Jasper, TN; several great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces, and great-great-nephews. Those serving as pallbearers will be Logan Allen, Josh Allen, Kendall Allen, Chris Logsdon, Brock Berryhill, and Micah Allen.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the nurses and staff at NHC Scott and Caris Healthcare for their compassionate care.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Thursday, September 24, 2026, at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Thursday, September 24, 2026, with Allen Black officiating. Interment will follow at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens in Lawrenceburg, TN. The family suggests memorials be made to Coleman Memorial United Methodist Church.
