🌳 The park was the place to be this weekend🌳

This Free Store looked a little different than our usual as we were in a different spot but it was giving small intimate market ✨ If you went, let us know what you thought about the spot?

A huge thank you to our volunteers who came out to help load,set up,work and break down the event. We saw a lot of new faces at this one!

Community is at its best when we show up for one another. 💜💜💜

and just like that….it’s juneee!!

we’ve got our monthly usuals with 2 sorting days, and our free store in the park on june 28 ☀️ anddd we’re excited to open up donation appointments again BUT we’re keeping it cute and only asking for toiletries, baby essentials, and a few other things this month (full donation list coming soon!)

Our April Free Store in the Park was another successful one🌳💜✨
The Spring sun was out and so was the community full of love,warmth and resources!

Huge thanks to ,, and for coming again and bringing much needed resources to our community 🫶🏽

Shoutout to all of our amazing 30+ volunteers and CL team who made the free store another one for the books. From set-up to break down, we can’t do this work without yall. 🙌🏽
This is what community truly looks like, thank you all for your time and resources. 🙏🏽

may is looking bright 🌷 here is what we got going on this month!

📦 5/3 & 5/17: Sorting Day (10am-2pm)

🌳 5/31: Free Store in the Park (12:45pm priority access/1pm general start/2:45 end time)

This month, we are cleaning out our inventory and making room for some upgrades 🙂‍↕️ sooo we are not taking any donations this month, but you can expect a lot more clothes in the store this time!!

Sorting Days are integral to our Free Store process! These are the days we’re looking at what we’re bringing to the store and what we’re leaving. We also get tons of donations that need to be sorted before they reach attendees! 💜

Also meet and work with our Community Loving team! It’s a great time to get to know everyone without the fast pace and pressure of the Free Store! 😜

Donations are what make the Free Store possible!! Which is why we want to give a HUGE thank you to our donors💜🤲

As we do our Spring Cleaning, we’re pausing Donation Appointments to simplify our process and prepare for the rest of the year.🦋🌷

Though, fear not because we will resume appointments in June! We encourage you to hold on to your donations until then and want to apologize for any inconvenience caused! ☀️😄

It’s moments like these that we’re so happy to make happen!!!

And you can help too, by attending Rooted & Rising, Tomorrow from 6-10pm at Over Flow, 24618 Narbonne Ave, Lomita

All proceeds will go directly to fund our remaining 9 free stores by paying for supplies, permits, U-hauls. Your ticket will be an act of community solidarity and uplift the South Bay all while making more moments like these possible.
