đź’š Today is World Mental Health Day, and as Mental Illness Awareness Week comes to a close, we're reminded of the power of sharing our stories.

Our lived experiences can create connection, break down stigma, inspire hope, and remind others that they are not alone.

Whether you're sharing your story, listening to someone else's, or simply showing up with kindness and compassion, you can make a difference.

Every story matters. Every voice matters. And no one should have to navigate their mental health journey alone. đź’š

Spending time with the Mustangs at Mira Costa High School felt especially meaningful during Su***de Prevention Month. đź’š

We shared NAMI Ending the Silence at a joint meeting of the NAMI on Campus Club, Mira Costa Peer Counseling, and Sober & Social Club. We talked about recognizing when someone may be struggling, supporting a friend, and knowing where to turn for help.

Thank you to Brooke and Gracie, founders and presidents of the NAMI on Campus Club, and school psychologist Janet Allen for bringing everyone together—and to the students for being part of the conversation. 💚

Thank you as well to Happy Coffee for being a part of the day

You are not alone. There is hope. đź’š
