Just a post to highlight a need we have at HRCH. I got this message and these pictures from Phito: 🛞I need to get new tires for this truck. I can’t even find the right words to tell you how important this truck is for HRCH and for my family. The last few years of problems and the times we had to run away with this truck it helped us a lot like we could grab important things and throw them in the back of it and run. It is the only good vehicle We have here. We need to always have it ready in case we have to go somewhere else. 🥭🍌🍍 Recently Hope Rising Christian Academy had a fruits and vegetables exposition at the school. 🍆🧅🍅🥕Each class described fruits and vegetables and told the benefits for the body. We are so thankful for our Haitian staff that keeps operations running as usual in these difficult days.

It’s that time again. Tax season. First of all, THANK YOU for your faithful giving!! If you would like a giving record to use for tax purposes, please contact me at [email protected]. The last few years I have had many mailings returned for bad addresses, so in order to be a good steward of Hope Rising’s resources, I will only send out giving records upon request.

During this Christmas season, we, the children of Hope Rising Christian Academy, would first like to give thanks to God for the successful completion of the first trimester of the academic year. We thank Him for life, protection, learning, and for all the blessings He grants us each day.

We take this special moment to express our sincere gratitude to the local and international Board, our generous donors, the school administration, and our teachers for their love, support, and constant commitment to our education and well-being.

Because of you, we are able to learn, grow, and dream of a better future. Your dedication makes a real difference in our lives, and we are truly thankful.

We wish you all a Merry Christmas, filled with peace, joy, and hope. May God bless you abundantly.

Most of you who have been to Haiti surely remember Luckey. Who could forget him? Luckey is in renal failure and needs two kidney surgeries immediately. The cost is approximately $6,000. Please consider donating to his cause at www.gapcommunity.com/donate and choose “Give to Haiti Projects.” Above all, please pray for our dear friend, that the money will come in time for him to be healthy and pain-free and enjoy Christmas with his family.

Hello friends these are some aerial shots of Hope Rising Children’s Home. I would like to take this time to thank everyone who contributed from the first rock to accomplish this beautiful place. Hope Rising’s vision is developing a safe and loving environment where physical, spiritual, educational and emotional needs are met. As you can notice in the pictures we have a school, a church and a medical clinic. So friends, for Hope Rising to continue with its goal, I am asking you to pray for this beautiful place. We also need your help to keep those buildings alive. As you can see the roofs are getting rusty and leaking. We need to do something immediately to fix them. We need to buy anti-rust paint. This beautiful place is a blessing for many people. The only place where families can come with their kids to pray and play. So we can’t let it down . Please help us keep this place in good shape.
