Tomorrow is the United Way of Fort Smith Touch A Truck event from 9a-1p at Van Buren High School

This is a FREE child safety and wellness event. Children can see, touch and explore life sized vehicles and meet amazing community folks like police officers, fire fighters, construction workers, military personnel and more! You can see everything from helicopters & construction equipment to motorcycles and a Monster Truck!

Virtual Summer Learning Series for Infant and Toddler Educators! 😎

In 2023, Arkansas State University Childhood Services hosted the Be Our Guest virtual conference. Videos from that conference continue to be accessed regularly by educators statewide, and we’ve received many requests to “rerun" the training content!

So, back by popular demand, we have reopened six of our most popular sessions for you this
summer. Each session includes a video, a playful takeaway activity to try with children, and an online reflection form. You are invited to participate at your own pace anytime between Monday, June 16, and Monday, June 30, 2025, completing the sessions that interest you.

Free lunch and books for all kids 18 and under, Parents can eat for $4.50.

Magazine Schools has a great lineup for the Career Lunch & Learn Series: Rattlers Read to Succeed this summer at the high school cafeteria. These fun, learning opportunities are free for students and community members from all over the area. Students 18 and under receive a free meal -- meal is $4.50 for adults -- and free books, as well as the chance to learn about several fascinating careers.
