A Beautiful Mess & Unforgettable Memories!
Today at The Park Student Ministry, we wrapped up our Elective Sunday: Team-Building Challenge in the Fellowship Hall!
Our students were split into teams to tackle three major stations: a strategic cup-stacking tower, an index card puzzle to unlock and read Scripture, and a blindfolded maze with red yarn woven through chairs and room dividers. The overall mission? Get every single teammate from one side of the room to the other!
Was it neat and polished? Not at all—it was a beautiful mess!
Some teams struggled with their cup towers and needed a nudge from our leadership team.
There were moments where teams struggled with putting together the puzzle itself, taking them a while to piece it together and see what the scripture was.
In the maze, teams were given zero instructions beforehand—forcing them to communicate, problem-solve on the spot, and guide their blindfolded teammates through the yarn!
Not every team got all their members across, and at times kids were running around, but today was all about creating memories that will stick with our students for years to come. Our leadership team did an incredible job managing mixed age groups and welcoming new faces. Some days in ministry you survive, create memories, and thank God you made it!
🗓️ LOOKING AHEAD TO NOVEMBER!
