Congratulations to Josh Mizels, chosen to participate in the Nature Valley The First Tee Open at Pebble Beach. Only 81 The First Tee participants from across the country were given the rare opportunity to play along side a PGA Champion's Tour player at one of the most famous venues in golf.

Georgetown College, the founding institution of The First Tee Scholars Program, is proud to announce a new $80,000 scholarship ($20,000 per year). This opportunity is open to all graduating senior participants who apply and are accepted to Georgetown College.

Dalton Price stands proudly between his father and Coach Robert Ferzoco with his brand new set of golf clubs he received at the Lauderhill Golf facility. Dalton received the clubs because he displayed The First Tee Nine Core Values at home, at school and on the golf course. Dalton also received the highest GPA at the Lauderhill affiliate site. Congratulations Dalton, you are an inspiration to all of us.

The First Tee of Broward was the main attraction at the YMCA Healthy Kids Day held at the YMCA Lauderhill branch. Over 200 children participated in the First Tee demonstration area where Program Director Desmond Dogan engaged the kids with fun activities using SNAG (Starting New At Golf) equipment. It was a great day of fun and learning.
